La mayoría de los puertorriqueños estamos en contra de la violencia / The majority of Puerto Ricans are against violence

Muchos puertorriqueños denuncian el uso de la violencia para descolonizar a Puerto Rico.  Ellos creen que la violencia nunca se debe utilizar bajo ninguna circunstancia.  ¿Por qué ellos toleran el uso de la violencia de otros?

Es importante destacar que la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) le ha dado a toda nación el derecho de usar todos los medios necesarios para descolonizarse.  En el 1960, la ONU declaró el colonialismo un crimen en contra de la humanidad.  Consistentemente, la ONU le ha pedido 33 veces a EEUU que descolonice inmediatamente a Puerto Rico.  ¡EEUU las ha ignorado todas! 

¡Si tú comparas la violencia estadounidense hacia los puertorriqueños, con la de violencia puertorriqueña hacia el gobierno de Estados Unidos, te dará cuenta que la proporción estadounidense ha sido mucho mayor!

Desde el principio, EEUU ha usado la violencia en contra de los puertorriqueños.  Nos bombardearon antes de la invasión militar de 1898.   Nos masacraron en Utuado, Ponce y Rio Piedras.  Asesinaron a 2 jóvenes independentista en el Cerro Maravilla en el 1978.  Un doctor estadounidense nos inyectó con el viro del cáncer para ayudar exterminarnos.  Y probablemente, la agresión más grande entre todas, ha sido la de haber mantenido a Puerto Rico como colonia de Estados Unidos por los últimos 116 años. 

¿Por qué muchos puertorriqueños no denuncian la violencia estadounidense en contra de nosotros?  ¿Por qué la violencia puertorriqueña usada en repuesta a la agresión estadounidense es mucha más inaceptable para muchos puertorriqueños que la de EEUU hacia nosotros?  

El gobierno de Estados Unidos nos ha escondido nuestra verdadera historia.  Lamentablemente, muchos puertorriqueños la desconocen.   Así es que el gobierno de Estados Unidos nos puede engañar y llamar a esos puertorriqueños terroristas, mientras hacerse aparentar un amante de la paz.  Tenemos que aprender nuestra verdadera historia por sí mismo, porque EEUU no nos la va enseñar.  El gobierno de EEUU va a querer para siempre seguir extrayendo silenciosamente 70 billones de dólares de Puerto Rico, y darnos solo 5 billones (aunque te dice que son 13 billones).  Pero de eso se trata el tema del artículo anterior.  
 

Sed parte del tsunami de gente que protestaremos continuamente y pacíficamente por lo menos 3 veces al año para obligar al gobierno de Estados Unidos a descolonizar a Puerto Rico, porque, los que tienen colonias, no creen en la justicia para todos.

Many Puerto Ricans denounce the use of violence to decolonize Puerto Rico.  They argue that violence should never be used under any circumstances.  So why is it that they tolerate the use of violence by others?

 

It is important to note that the United Nations (UN) has given all nations the right to use whatever means necessary to decolonize themselves.  Therefore, these pro-independence groups that use violence to decolonize Puerto Rico have the right to do that.

Conversely, the United States (US) government does not have the right to have Puerto Rico as its colony.  In 1960, the UN declared colonialism a crime against humanity.  Consequently, it has issued over the years 33 resolutions asking the US government to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  The US has ignored them all!

If you compare the violence used by the US government against the people of Puerto Rico, and the violence used by Puerto Ricans against the US government, you will find that the US has used it incredibly more!
 

From the very beginning, the US government has used violence against Puerto Ricans.  It bombarded Puerto Rico, before its military invaded her in 1898.  It massacred Puerto Ricans who fought for decolonization in Ponce, Rio Piedras and Utuado.  It assassinated 2 young pro-independence patriots at Cerro Maravilla in 1978. A US medical doctor injected Puerto Ricans with cancer viruses to exterminate us.  And probably the greatest US act of aggression of all has been the one of having maintained Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 116 years. 

So why don’t Puerto Ricans denounce the violence used by the US government against Puerto Ricans?  Why is Puerto Rican violence, which is a response to US aggression, much more unacceptable to Puerto Ricans, than the incredibly more US aggression towards us?

The US government has hidden our real Puerto Rican history from us.  Consequently, most Puerto Ricans are oblivious to our own history.  That is how the US government gets away with calling these Puerto Ricans groups terrorists, while at the same time portray itself as a peace lover.  Do your own research to get to the truth, because you will never get it from the US government.  It wants to continue forever extracting quietly 70 billion dollars a year from Puerto Rico, while only giving us 5 billion (although it says it is 13 billion).  But, that’s another story covered in the previous post. 
 

Be part of the tsunami of people that we will need to force the US government to decolonize Puerto Rico, because those who have colonies don’t believe in justice for all!
