Puerto Rico
has been a United States (US) colony for the past 123 years. Since the United
Nations (UN) was created in 1945, the US government has had an ongoing dispute
with it over Puerto Rico. Here is why.
The UN’s
Charter prohibits colonialism, because it is threat to world peace. It is
considered by the international community to be a crime against humanity. Knowing
this, the USG lied to the UN in 1953 to get Puerto Rico off its list of
colonies. This is how the USG worked that out.
The USG
created the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 1952 in order to camouflage its
colony. In 1953, the USG asked the UN to remove Puerto Rico from its list of
colonies, because, allegedly, she now has “self-government”. The UN did, but
now it knows that that was a lie. Despite knowing the truth today, the UN has
refused to put Puerto Rico back on its list.
On Friday,
June 18, 2021, the UN had its annual hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization.
These hearing are not publicized, not even in states like Florida and New York
where a large concentration of Puerto Ricans reside there. Obliviously, the USG
wants to keep it in the closet!
That hearing
produced the 40th UN resolution asking the USG, once again, to
immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. We expect

This year, the
UN commenced its 4th International Decade for the Eradication of
Colonialism.
Isn’t it
interesting that the USG is eager to move its military great distances to
intervene with China and Russia over their territorial disputes in the name of

We need to
get this discussion out of the closet to determine whether we really have a democracy
in the US. How a majority of US citizens could be in favor of their government

If the North
Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) feels the need to militarily help Crimea in

La mayoría de los boricuas creen que las elecciones en
Puerto Rico son la mejor forma de mejorar nuestra situación. ¡Increíblemente,
ellos creen que Puerto Rico es una democracia, dado a que el gobierno de

los últimos 123 años! La realidad es que Puerto Rico es una colonia del GEU.

Puerto Rico supuestamente “tiene una deuda de 74
billones de dólares”. Más boricuas (5.6 billones) viven fuera de nuestro
territorio nacional que dentro (3.2). La
mitad de los boricuas en Boriken creen que la mejor forma para mejorar nuestra
condición de vida es convirtiéndonos en el estado 51 de la Unión

Ser colonizados significa que nosotros no tenemos derecho

El GEU necesitó, en el 1953, una mentira para sacar a
Puerto Rico de la lista de colonias de la Organización de Naciones Unidas
(ONU). El Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico del 1952 fue ese engaño.
El GEU pidió a la ONU que removiera a Puerto Rico de su
lista de colonias, alegando que Puerto Rico había adquirido gobierno propio en
el 1952. La ONU aceptó, aunque luego reconoció el engaño. Sin embargo, la ONU no
ha querido regresar a Puerto Rico a su lista.
La ONU está localizada en la ciudad de Nueva York,
Estados Unidos. El mundo considera al GEU como la amenaza más grande a la paz. El

¿Vale la pena nuestra liberación nacional?
The United Nations (UN) held its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing on Friday, June 18, 2021. The UN is in its 4th International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism. This may seem like the UN means business, but it is all an act. Here is why.
1. The United States (US) government (USG) has never complied with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism, since the UN was created 76 years ago.
2. The USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
What has the UN done about that? Nothing! It is content with just putting out resolutions, and dedicating international decades for the eradication of colonialism. And, should you try to get the UN to put pressure on the USG, it refuses. Here are some examples:
1. The UN refuses to advertise worldwide its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing in New York City. Most of the almost 1 million Puerto Ricans living in New York State don’t know that these hearing are being held. The UN is, therefore, helping the USG to continue to commit its crime against humanity.
2. The UN refuses to broadcast live these hearing. And when we broadcasted the 2016 hearing live ourselves, the UN took me off its petitioners’ list for that year. 3. And when the UN does decide to broadcast the hearing live, it hides that information. I searched the UN WEB TV to see if this year’s hearing would be broadcasted. I did not find it. On the day of the hearing, a friend informed me about a link that he had found accidentally about the live broadcast in a newspaper article. That was what I was looking for, but the UN WEB TV had not identified it as such. The UN identified it as: “(5th meeting) Special Committee of 24 (Decolonization Committee) – Resumed session, 14-25 June 2021. The Special Committee on the Situation with regard to the implementation of the Declaration on the Granting of Independence of Colonial Countries and Peoples, also known as the Special Committee on Decolonization, or C-24 was established in 1961 by the General Assembly (GA), as its subsidiary organ devoted to the issue of decolonization. The C-24 annually reviews the list of Non-Self-Governing-Territories (NSGT) to which the Declaration is applicable. It also hears statements of representatives of the NSGT at its annual sessions, dispatches visiting missions to NSGT and annually organizes regional seminars.” The UN is obviously hiding these hearings to protect the USG! 4. The UN refuses to put Puerto Rico on its list of colonies (NSGT), although she is the oldest and most populated colony, than the ones on its list!
5. The UN does not provide a clear and transparent way for Puerto Ricans to request to be a petitioner at these hearings. When I went to the UN website a month before this year’s hearing, there was nothing! Then, suddenly, a friend mentioned to me that he discovered that the closing day for it was the next day. It is obvious that the UN does not want certain people to speak at these hearings.
The UN, like
the colonial elections in Puerto Rico, is designed to function as a pressure
release to prevent another Puerto Rican revolution. Therefore, we must not believe
that the UN will ever decolonize Puerto Rico. On the contrary, its function to
maintain Puerto Rico as a US colony forever.
5.6 million Puerto
Ricans are presently living away from our national territory, while 3.2 million
of us have refused to abandon our homeland. It is incumbent on the 9 million
Puerto Ricans worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to
comply with International law.
Russia,
China, Venezuela, Mexico, Iran, Black Lives Matter, and many other people all
around the world would be elated, and be in solidarity with us for defending
our inalienable right to self-determination and independence.
Forget about
Puerto Rican elections, and the UN. Believe in our own determination to fight

La ONU no la identificó claramente como la vista sobre
la descolonización de Puerto Rico del viernes, 18 de junio de 2021. Así fue
como la ONU la identificó:

¡Esas vistas se dan sin que los boricuas en el estado
de Nueva York, y los 9 millones de boricuas mundialmente, lo sepan! ¿Por qué se
esconde estas vistas?
Puerto Rico no aparece en la lista de colonias de la
ONU, aunque ella es la más vieja y la más poblada, que todas las 17 colonias
que están. ¿Por qué la ONU esconde esa realidad?
El gobierno de Estados Unidos (GEU) nunca ha cumplido
con la misma Carta de la ONU que prohíbe el colonialismo por los últimos 76 años.
¿Por qué la supuesta “prensa libre” estadounidense no difunde eso? ¡No será eso
noticia!
El GEU ha ignorado 39 resoluciones de la ONU pidiéndole

UN working for?

legislación federada de las congresistas boricuas Velázquez y Ocasio Cortez
