The more
political parties there are in Puerto Rico, the longer Puerto Ricans will
suffer under United States (US) colonialism. Click on the following link to
watch a video about the chaos in Puerto Rico without ever addressing the
genesis of that chaos: https://youtu.be/ZOsFeYJ1gQI
The origin
of the devastation in Puerto Rico today is the result of a US military invasion
to make Puerto Rico a US colony. The Treaty of Paris of 1898, which resulted
from that, is still the law of the land today. It says that the rights of
Puerto Ricans shall be determined by the US government (USG). That means that
Puerto Ricans are US slaves. Therefore, if Puerto Ricans are slaves, we have no
rights that the USG has to respect!
Everything
in that video is nonsense.
What the
video should have focused on is the fact that colonialism is a crime against humanity
for the past 76 years!
What the
video should have focused on is the fact that the USG has never complied with
the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, and has ignored,
with impunity, 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s
sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Why didn’t
the US media report that on Friday, June 18, 2021 the UN held its annual Puerto
Rico decolonization hearing in New York City. Most Puerto Ricans, including the
900,000 Boricuas living in New York States, are oblivious to these annual hearings.
They are blacked-out by the media, because the USG wants to keep Puerto Rico as
its colony forever. Or, until the USG could repopulated Puerto Rico with a
majority of “whites” to make her its 51st state of the Union.
We need to
educate ourselves to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply
with international law. If we don’t, the USG, the US media, and the UN will not
liberate Puerto Rico for us. And that is why people say that “people have the
government that they deserve”. If Puerto Ricans are not willing to fight for
our liberty, then we will remain the oldest colony in the world. http://www.todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/
Boricuas
must get rid of that distinction!
