US Major General Smedley Butler and US President Eisenhower both warned the world that the US uses war as a racket to benefit US oligarchs. This is exactly what we are witnessing today in the most grotesque manner since the holocaust!

US citizens must wake up to the fact that both US major political parties do not represent the interest of the 99% of us. How could they, when 38 million Americans live in poverty and 60% live from paycheck to paycheck, as 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?

How could they, when the US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? Puerto Rico, to US oligarchs, is a garbage island, only for the extraction of wealth!

If the US is truly the land of the free and the home of the brave, we must free ourselves from our delusional democracy, and fight for the real thing!

The People’s Republic of China has proven that poverty could be eliminated. China has eliminated poverty, while having a population 4 times that of the US.

Do you know that China’s government has an approval of over 90% from the Chinese? In contrast, do you know that the US government has an approval of about 40% from its own citizens? Therefore, China with an “A” is more of a democracy than the US with an “F”.

And while the US continues to be the epicenter of the coronavirus with over a million deaths, the US also continues sending all the money in the world to defend Ukraine’s democracy. But what is irrefutable about the US’ so-called “democracy” is that today 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens!

The residents of Clarksdale and the 99% of US citizens must fight for democracy every day!
