Resistance before celebration

Please click on the following link to watch a video about celebrating Puerto Rican heritage in the United States' (US) 250th anniversary: https://youtu.be/N1ZbGv0UWJE

Shouldn't the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide be instead engaged in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with 44 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? You can watch the most recent hearing by clicking on these links: https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1t/k1ta9w5sv0 https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1a/k1ab0p6z0q

Are you aware that 6 million (two thirds of the nation) Puerto Ricans today live away from their national territory (gentrification) because the US forced them to seek a better life elsewhere, and that almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty? That is nothing to celebrate, and a lot to be enraged about!

As a result of brainwashing, half of Puerto Ricans on the island want Puerto Rico to become another state of the US in order to achieve equality with the citizens on the mainland. Little do they know that 90% of them don't have equality with the top 10% of their fellow Americans, although they vote every 4 years in national elections.

Bad Bunny made reference to the US' colonial relationship with Puerto Rico in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which angered President Trump!

US Supreme Court Judge Sonia Sotomayor said that she swore that she was going to help change the world. You would think that she would first begin by helping to decolonize Puerto Rico!

If Americans celebrate their independence from England, why can't Puerto Rico also celebrate their independence from the US?

Aren't Puerto Ricans good enough?
