Los boricuas en Puerto Rico marcharon el sábado, 18 de julio de 2026, en el Viejo San Juan por la independencia de su país. Puerto Rico ha sido una colonia de Estados Unidos (EEUU) por los últimos 128 años. EEUU ha ignorado 43 resoluciones de la Organización de Naciones Unidas exigiendo la devolución inmediata de la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños. ¡Eso es un crimen en contra de la humanidad!

6 millones de boricuas viven hoy fuera de su territorio nacional, porque EEUU los ha obligado a buscar mejores condiciones de vida (gentrificación), y casi la mitad de los 3 millones de personas en Puerto Rico viven en la pobreza. Bad Bunny hizo referencia de eso en su espectáculo de medio tiempo en el Super Bowl, lo cual enfureció al Presidente Trump.

La mitad de los puertorriqueños en la isla quieren que Puerto Rico se convierta en un estado de EEUU para lograr la igualdad con los ciudadanos del continente. Poco saben ellos que ni el 90% de los ciudadanos americanos del continente tienen igualdad con el 10% que gobierna EEUU.

Es importante destacar que casi 40 millones de americanos también viven hoy en la pobreza, y 201 millones más viven de cheque a cheque, mientras que 9 de los 10 hombres más ricos del mundo también son americanos.

Puerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 128 years. The US has ignored 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. That is a crime against humanity!

6 million boricuas live today away from their national territory, because the US has forced them to search for a better life elsewhere (gentrification), and almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty. Bad Bunny made reference to that in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which infuriated President Trump.

Half of the Puerto Ricans on the island want Puerto Rico to become a state of the US in order to get equality with Americans on the continent. Little do they know that 90% of them don't even have equality themselves with the 10% who govern the US. It is important to highlight that almost 40 million Americans live today in poverty too, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans.
