US will never decolonize PR

The United States (US) is supposedly considering a bill to decolonize Puerto Rico, after 124 years of US colonialism.

It is important to note that the US created this problem by militarily invading Puerto Rico to make her a colony. The US is today committing a crime against humanity by never having complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. Moreover, the US has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

US House Representative Tom McClintock recently argued that US citizens must be protected from this bill. He argued that the current colonial status, the so-called Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, should be among the options offered in the plebiscite. 

He, however, never mentioned the fact that, according to the Treaty of Paris of 1898 (still in effect today), the rights of Puerto Ricans are determined by the US. That means that Puerto Ricans are US slaves! Therefore, Puerto Ricans voting in a plebiscite is senseless. This bill is just a show! If McClintock wants to really protect American citizens, and really decolonize Puerto Rico, the best and simplest way would be for the US to comply with the 40 UN resolutions. Once the Puerto Rico has her sovereignty returned, we will decide our own political future.

What if China supported PR independence?

What would the United States (US) do if the People’s Republic of China would send a government official to Puerto Rico to support her independence? Does anyone doubt that the US would shoot down that Chinese aircraft? And, would that be worth a nuclear war?

Although the US has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity, and has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, she says that she supports Taiwan’s independence.

Taiwan has been a part of China for 350 years. Puerto Rico, on the other hand, had never been a part of the US, until the US government militarily invaded her 124 years ago to make her its colony.

US Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi wants to visit Taiwan against China’s wishes. In order to do so, her aircraft would have to enter China’s airspace without authorization. Should Nancy’s plane be shot down, what would be the US’ response? Should the US attack China militarily, that would only bring Russia into the conflict too. And what would all that be for?

Why doesn’t the US take care of the 99% of her own citizens that are hurting? She doesn’t, because, by engaging in military conflicts around the world, that helps the 1% get even richer. How else do you think that 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, while the US is the epicenter of the coronavirus with over a million deaths?

If China respects the Monroe Doctrine, then the US would be wise to respect Xi’s Doctrine too. If the US doesn’t, she would be entering the dragon. And, that would be a huge mistake!

PR independence isn’t via a US process

If the United States (US) government (USG) today finally wants self-determination for Puerto Rico, the best way to do it would be to comply with the 40 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Puerto Ricans would then, and in our own language, determine our own political future. Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 124 years. The US militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her a colony. Therefore, Puerto Rico is poor, because she is a US colony. In fact, almost half of the Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico live in poverty!

The video lied when it stated that Puerto Rico had never decolonized herself from Spain. Puerto Rico, in fact, was a province of Spain in 1897, and therefore enjoyed real self-government. The US knew that, but, nevertheless, forced Spain to sign the Treaty of Paris of 1898 to supposedly cede Puerto Rico to the US.

The US’ real intentions with Puerto Rico is obvious from the language in the Treaty of Paris. It states that the rights of the Puerto Ricans shall be determined by the US. That means that Puerto Ricans are US slaves! The Treaty of Paris is still in effect today!

The US forced her citizenship on Puerto Ricans in 1917, after we had rejected it. The video ends with the suggestion that perhaps the solution lies with Puerto Ricans voting for either independence or statehood.

Voting, however, deceptively suggests that Puerto Rico is a democracy. As a colony, Puerto Ricans have no rights that the US has to respect. The video, again, neglects to offer a realistic solution.

Lo vemos en el hecho de que EU ha violado, por los últimos 77 años, la Carta de la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) que prohíbe el colonialismo por ser un crimen en contra de la humanidad. ¿Podría el capitalismo salvarnos?

¡Al contrario, el capitalismo nos destruirá! Para entender eso, veamos las necesidades que tenemos como seres humanos según el psicólogo Abraham Bloom.

Bloom categoriza a las necesidades humanas en una jerarquía de 5 niveles, desde lo más básico hasta lo máximo. Uno no podrá llegar al próximo nivel de desarrollo humano sin primero satisfacer el nivel anterior.

El capitalismo del 1% de la humanidad impide al 99% de nosotros a llegar al punto máximo donde desarrollamos la moralidad. La moralidad es imprescindible para que un pueblo se pueda levantar en contra de su opresor.

El socialismo sería la mejor forma que permitiría a la mayoría de la gente poder llegar al punto máximo de la pirámide de Bloom. Una sociedad que tenga sus necesidades plenamente satisfecha jamás destruiría a su planeta.

El socialismo es lo más compatible para satisfacer a las necesidades humanas.

In connection with the mission to Latin America and Caribbean to raise awareness and seek solidarity and support, James Finies, president of Nos Ke Boneiru Bek, and Davika Bissessar, president of Bonaire Human Rights Organization recently made a presentation at University of Panama.

The Dean of the University, Dr. Victor Alexis, in his speech welcomed James Finies and Davika Bissessar to their country, the Republic of Panama, with brotherly greetings from the province of Colon and especially from the family of the Regional University Center.

Dr. Alexis made comparison of the situation they lived thru, with Bonaire. “This place also was under occupation of a foreign government. I was born here and could not pass through these territories. We have experienced and lived apartheid in our own country. As product of a trans-generational struggle today we can enjoy of it, the areas around the Panama Canal, because they are part of us now. Feel at home and receive our solidarity with anticipation and we are going to help and give our support to this noble cause.”

James Finies started his presentation with the trajectory of putting Bonaire back on the list of Non Self Governing Territories of United Nations, and declaring that he is here in Panama to denounce the violations and inequality that the people of Bonaire are living in.

The Dutch Kingdom pretends that they respect the human rights of their citizens, but in the Caribbean, and especially in Bonaire, they have deprived us of our language, our culture and our land. US’ desperate attempt to maintain her hegemony

The United States (US) government (USG) gave a press conference today about its support of the war in Ukraine. The press conference is an excellent example of fake news, as it never acknowledged the US’ role in provoking Russia to militarily invade Ukraine by wanting to make her a North Atlantic Treaty Organization member. The USG is well aware that it is losing its hegemony, and is willing to sacrifice the people of Ukraine in order to try to hold on to it.

Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 124 years, because it benefits 1% of US citizens. 50% of Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico live in poverty. The injustice will continue now, tomorrow and forever, unless the 99% of us engage in permanent resistance to replace capitalism to a 100% people-friendly economic system. Es importante entender que no deberíamos esperar que la ONU descolonice a Puerto Rico. El GEU ya ha ignorado hasta la fecha 40 resoluciones de la ONU pidiéndole que devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños. Eso es evidencia contundente de que el GEU está consciente que ha violado la Carta de la ONU por los últimos 77 años, y que está cometiendo un crimen en contra de la humanidad.    

Por lo tanto, los 9 millones de boricuas mundialmente estamos moralmente obligados a hacer resistencia permanente para obligar al GEU a cumplir con la ley internacional.

Why richest nation neglects her citizens?

Most people expect that United States (US) citizens have the best standard of living in the world. They do, because the US government is always bragging that it is the beacon of democracy. People would, therefore, expect US citizens to demand that their government govern for 100% of them. And, that is the proble! The reason why the US sends so much money to Ukraine instead of helping her citizens, is because she wants to destroy Russia and China. By doing so, that would permit the US 1% to become even richer.

The video ends with some recommendations about how we might be able to improve our lives. Those suggestions, however, missed the cause of our misery. We must educate ourselves to see that the US is not a democracy, and fight to create one!

The United States (US) government (USG) is worried about Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman’s (MBS) unwillingness to comply with Washington’s wishes. The USG would be looking to remove the “cancer”, if he continues getting close to Russia and China. MBS has been considering abandoning Saudis’ agreement with the USG of selling her oil only in US dollars. That would be a devastating blow to US hegemony. Why do western “democracies” have money for war, but not to benefit the 99% of their citizens? It’s because, they are in reality plutocracies. How could nearly 40 million United States (US) citizens live in poverty, when the US is the richest nation in the world? Do you know that half of the Puerto Ricans living in Puerto Rico (a US colony for the past 124 years) live in poverty too! The answer is that the US is not a democracy. If she were a real democracy, no one would be living in poverty in the US. Why? Because the People’s Republic of China has eradicated poverty at home, and she has 4 times the population as the US!

The Chinese government did it by instituting programs to that end. The government used the wealth of Chinese’s capitalists to help finance those programs. The Chinese succeeded in eradicating poverty, because she governs for 100% of her people.

Here are some of the results of the USG representing only the 1%:

3. 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens

4. US wants a nuclear war with Russia and China to make the 1% richer by selling arms and stealing their resources

5. And this list has no end

Both China and US citizens say that democracy is important. However, the Chinese, with a one party communist political system, are over 95% satisfied with their government. US citizens, with the multiparty “democratic” political system, are only 40% satisfied with their government! Who has the better “consent of the governed”?

Another big difference is that anybody who has the financial support of the 1% could hold a political office in the US. In China, meritocracy is the only way for one to occupy a political office. And that is why China will soon be the most powerful nation in the world.

US democracy has earned herself the world’s reputation of being the biggest threat to peace. China, in contrast, is universally known for spreading peace and prosperity to all.

Adolf Hitler was very interested in what the United States (US) was doing in eugenics. The US government (USG) sterilized people whom it considered inferior races in the US. The USG also sterilized a third of the women in Puerto Rico, without they even knowing it.
