US “democracy” is for the 1%

The United States (US) government (USG) has creatively corrupted the word democracy to mean its representation of only the 1% of US citizens. How else could you explain that 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens, while the US is the epicenter of the coronavirus with over a million deaths? How else could you explain that 42.31 million US citizens live in poverty, while China, with 4 times the population, has eradicated poverty in her homeland? And, how else could you explain the USG accusing China of committed genocide in Xinjian, while it has, for the past 77 years, ignored 41 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Colonialism is a real crime against humanity, and I would love for US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken to explain that!
