What is US' “rules based order”?

The United States government (USG) uses the term “rules-based order (RBO)” to avoid the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits it from governing for the 1% if its citizens.

A group of nations, calling themselves “friends of the UN Charter”, are trying to revolutionize the UN, by trying to make all nations to have to comply with the UN’s Charter. Many of the nations that have refused to condemn Russia for her military invasion of Ukraine are in that group.

Instead of the USG complying, for the past 77 years, with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity, and complying with 41 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, it decided instead to invoke its RBO.

The USG tells Puerto Ricans that they must decide whether they want to continue being a US colony, becoming the 51st state of the Union, or becoming an independent nation. Once they do that, then they could go to Washington to see what the USG decides.

According to the USG’s RBO, it believes that the one who committed the crime has the right to manage the resolution of that crime. Of course the USG would want to do it that way, since US capitalists have been the ones making a lot of money from Puerto Rico’s colonialism for the past 124 years. And, they certainly hope for colonialism now, colonialism tomorrow and colonialism forever! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

US’ rules-based order is the opposite of democracy.
