US Empire refuses to die

The United States Empire (US) is doing everything in its power to maintain its hegemony by militarily refusing to accept that the Islamic Republic of Iran will control of the Strait of Hormuz, and, with that, 20% of the world's energy. The US governs for only its oligarchs. This is why almost 40 million Americans today live in poverty, and another 201 million more live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans too.

US Marine Major General Smedley Butler denounced this in his 1935 book, WAR IS A RACKET. He explained how the US uses war to enrich its oligarchs at the expense of US soldiers' lives. 

A year before, a group of oligarchs approached him to lead a  coup d'etat against President Franklyn D. Roosevelt because they did not want to pay for his New Deal. Although Butler revealed the plot, the US did nothing to the oligarchs.

6 million Puerto Ricans, or two thirds of the nation, live today away from their national territory, because the US has forced them to seek a better life elsewhere (gentrification). Almost half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too. Bad Bunny made reference to this in his Super Bowl Halftime Show, which infuriated President Trump! 

As a result of US brainwashing, half of Puerto Ricans on the island want Puerto Rico to become another state of the US in order to achieve equality with the citizens on the mainland. Little do they know that 90% of them don't have equality with the top 10% of their fellow Americans on the continent, although they vote every 4 years.

The People's Republic of China, the real champion of democracy, eradicated poverty, despite having 11 trillion dollars less than the US, and having 4 times the US' population. While only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democracy", over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their government, which proves that a democracy must prohibit oligarchs from running the nation. 

The US Empire must die before democracy could be born.
