Impose sanction on the USA too

The United States government (USG) likes to impose sanctions unilaterally to whomever it doesn’t like. It is time for the international community to put an end to that for the sake of world peace. Everybody knows that the world regards the USG as the biggest threat to peace!

The United Nations (UN) should immediately impose sanctions on the USG for the following:

1. Maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony, despite the fact that it is in violation to the 1945 UN Charter that prohibits colonialism, and for ignoring 40 UN resolutions asking the USG to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

2. Maintaining an illegal blockade against Cuba for more than 60 years, despite an overwhelming majority of the UN General Assembly in June 2021 being against it .

These criminal acts by the USG are of the magnitude of “crimes against humanity”. And as such, the UN should immediately take measures to reestablish its headquarters in a country that respects the rule of law!   

There can be no peace without justice. The USG has never been about justice. That is why the world is saying today, like George Floyd said, “I can’t breathe.”  

Let Puerto Rico and Cuba breathe. If the world is willing to engage in permanent resistance against the bully, we could one day create real liberty and justice for all! http://www.todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/
