The following
is the typical news reports that you will find in the media. They are divorced
from the most essential elements of Puerto Rican history, so you are left more
confused than when the report started. Click on the following link to watch
such a news report: https://youtu.be/3ojFCuPo9lY
This is the
rest of the story that these reports always leave out.
Puerto Rico
was a Spanish province, when the United States (US) government (USG) militarily
invaded her to make her its colony. The Treaty of Paris of 1898, still the law
of the land, says that the rights of the Puerto Ricans will be determined by
the USG. Thus, all of the tragedy depicted in the above video is the result of
123 years of US colonialism.
As was
briefly noted in the video, Puerto Rico is a paradise. We have excellent
farming weather, and great fishing all year around. Why are Puerto Ricans importing
85% of what we consume, and using the most expensive ships? We do, because it benefits
exclusively the USG. But that is exactly what colonies are for!
The USG wants
Puerto Ricans to leave our natural paradise. That is why the USG has purposefully
made our paradise inhospitable to us. And, once the USG could establish a
majority of whites in our national territory, the USG will make Puerto Rico the
51st state of its Union! The so-called “governor of Puerto Rico”,
Pedro Pierluisi, doesn’t see the writing on the wall, because he is ignorant of
history!
Puerto
Ricans must learn our history, because the USG will not teach it to us.
Most Puerto
Ricans don’t know that on Friday, June 18, 2021 the United Nations (UN) will
hold its annual hearing to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization.
Most Puerto
Ricans don’t know that the USG has never complied with the UN’s Charter that
prohibits colonialism for the past 76 years! That means that the USG is committing
a crime against humanity for maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony.
Most Puerto
Ricans don’t know that the USG has ignored with impunity 39 UN resolutions
asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

And, most
Puerto Ricans don’t know that 5.8 million Boricuas today live away from our
national territory. Only 3.2 million of us have refused to abandon our homeland!

Therefore,
the 9 million Boricuas worldwide must engage in resistance now, tomorrow and
forever to force the USG to comply with international law. If not, we will become
a nation without a homeland!
We must
avoid becoming a nation without a homeland!
