USA has stolen way too much money from PR

United States (US) President Donald Trump has repeated that Puerto Rico (PR) has already gotten way too much money from the United States Government (USG) for her reconstruction after Hurricane Maria. The president is not being truthful with the American taxpayer. He is trying to hide from the world that Puerto Rico is a US colony! Click on the following link to witness the average coverage of the US so-called “frees press” on this subject: https://www.msnbc.com/all-in/watch/puerto-rico-needs-answers-1469442627592

How much money has the US government (USG) robbed from Puerto Ricans, since it militarily invaded Puerto Rico in 1898? If that amount were to be compared to Trump’s “way too much money” whining, that “so-called US aid would be a tiny drop in the bucket!

The entire US press’ discourse has been to conceal that fact. This can easily be seen when Trump blames the long recovery on Puerto Rico’s already fragile electrical grid before Hurricane Maria. This is obviously Trump’s way to put all the blame on Puerto Ricans for their mismanagement of their national territory. But what many people don’t know, because the press remains silent, is that, what people call the Puerto Rico government is in fact the USG’ administration of its colony!

Therefore, Puerto Rico has not been administered for the interest of Puerto Ricans for the past 120 year. On the contrary, she has been administered for the exclusive interest of the US 1% that Trump belongs to. So, there was no way that our electrical grid could have been in any other condition but extremely fragile and extremely expensive for Puerto Ricans. And that is the reason why today more Puerto Ricans live outside of our national territory!

Most people, including Puerto Ricans, don’t know that the USG has violated the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945.

Moreover, most people don’t know that the USG thus far has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. This means that the USG has willfully decided to continue to commit a crime against humanity!

And most people are unaware that the USG carefully designed Puerto Rico’s exploitation by making sure that the Treaty of Paris said that the rights of Puerto Ricans would be determined by the USG. So Puerto Ricans have no rights that the USG must respect! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=46s

Everyone who believes that all nations do have an alienable right to self-determination and independence should engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

We must, because those who hide their crimes so that they can continues to maintain slaves now, tomorrow and forever, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
That’s why PR can’t do for herself!

  1. Excellent article and interesting links. Bad times to ask the predator to release its prey, but we must continue to demand it, today and forever. Puerto Rico must be a free and independent country and it will be.

Thanks for such valuable and worked information.

    Hasta la victoria siempre. ¡Venceremos!
