Delegates
from colonized nations assembled in Bonaire on the morning of Saturday,
December 7, 2019 for the 4th symposium for the decolonization and
reparation of the Caribbean. Click on the following link to watch our video: https://youtu.be/5nKDlrJAujE
On the day
of the symposium was the anniversary of the Japanese’s attack on the United
States’ (US) Naval Station in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. That was brutal, but not as
brutal as the US’ response using the atomic bomb to annihilate 2 Japanese
cities.
I mention
this to highlight the fact that colonization is a forceful and brutal rejection
of people’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence. Therefore,
we must understand that an equally forceful revolution must take place to
achieve decolonization. The United Nations (UN) is unable to do that for us. Why?
The UN was designed by the triumphant nations of World War II to be able
to do whatever they want with impunity. Those nations are empires, and
therefore bullies!
Isn’t it
ironic that the UN’s headquarters in New York City is in the US Empire? The US
is considered by the world to be the biggest threat to world peace. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/08/07/polls-us-greatest-threat-to-peace-world-today.html.
How could it then be possible for the UN to achieve world peace, if empires
refuse to decolonize, and the UN is impotent to make them comply with
international law?
Colonies
inevitable must take matters into their own hands. We must unilaterally begin to
decolonize the minds of our own people to allow us to understand that only via
a revolution could we force empires to return our sovereignty to us.
So let’s begin
the great challenge of learning our real history that will drive us to engage
in permanent resistance to force empires to comply with the UN’s Charter that
specifically prohibits colonialism, and that they knowingly committed themselves
to in 1945.
We must,
because those who continue to enslave other human beings, can’t believe in
LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
We need to
match the colonizer’s intensity in the opposite direction.
