US democracy camouflages plutocracy

If the US were a democracy, why has she maintained Puerto Rico as her colony for the past 124 years? She has, because that represents a lot of money for US capitalists.

That means, however, that the US government (USG) has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity. China is correct about the world being aware of Washington’s deceptions. How else could the US be the epicenter of the coronavirus with over a million deaths, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?
