US’ addiction to war

The United States (US) could never be called a democracy, because she is addicted to governing only for the 1% of her citizens. President Reagan said that he was going to put an end to the US being a welfare state. No doubt that he was referring to President Roosevelt’s New Deal Policy of the 1930’s. The US has always been a warfare state, since the very beginnings. She started with killing 100 million indigenous people in America. She stole half of Mexico! And now suddenly, the US has denounced and has put a mountain of economic sanctions on Russia for her invasion of Ukraine!

US Major General Smedley Butler wrote a book about the US warfare state in 1935 called, “War is a Racket”. He also denounced the Wall Street coup attempt on President Franklyn Roosevelt for his New Deal Policy.  

In 1898, the US militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her a US colony. She has refused for the past 77 years to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism for being a crime against humanity.
