United
States (US) President Ronald Reagan narrated in 1962 a propaganda documentary
entitled The Truth about Communism. Please click on this link to watch it: https://youtu.be/1c_PsUR1wvA
Reagan, in
the 1980’s, led the US into neoliberalism that has resulted in chaos for the
majority of US citizens. An example of that is the fact that today 38 million
Americans live in poverty, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US
citizens.
Israel and
the US, two so-called “champions of democracy”, are today committing genocide
against the indigenous people of Palestine in their own homeland. How is that
demonstratively different from what Reagan depicted in his documentary?
The truth of
the matter is that the US wants to rule the world, and not spread democracy. If
the US were interested in spreading democracy, it would be happy with the
People’s Republic of China that wants win-win economic relationship among
nations.
China, a
nation that the US says is a dictatorship, has already eradicated her poverty
since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population. While only 33% of US
citizens today are satisfied with our government, 90% of Chinese are satisfied
with theirs!
The US, in
addition to the war that it is currently fighting against the Russian
Federation in Ukraine, plans to also go to war against China. The US will use, as
its pretext, that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination
and independence. That obviously is hypocritical, since the US has consistently
refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolution precisely demanding that
it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
Will the
International Court of Justice find Israel and the US guilty of crimes against
humanity? Will those found guilty be executed like in the Nuremberg Trials
against the Nazi? Or, will there be a
double standard used by virtue of US’ exceptionalism?
US’ exceptionalism
is in itself anti-democratic!
