Free Puerto Rico, US' Colony

Click on the above link to read about how Puerto Rico has gotten to where it is.

Puerto Rico’s problem is the United States (US) government.  The US government has unilaterally orchestrated the events that have led to the crises that Puerto Ricans face today.

The United States government, however, has never had a crisis with regards to Puerto Rico.  You see, Puerto Rico has been its colony for the past 117 years.  Puerto Rico has been exploited, like colonies are supposed to be.  Why else have a colony?  This is why the US government will never help Puerto Rico.  That is not the essence of its relationship with her.

Nelson Denis, the author of WAR AGAINST ALL PUERTO RICANS, does an excellent job connecting the dots, so that his readers could understand how Puerto Rico got to this point.  So what is the solution for Puerto Ricans?

The solution is the same solution that the 192 countries that make up the United Nations (UN) chose.  Puerto Rico needs her independence.

The US government commits an international crime by violating Puerto Ricans human rights by maintaining us under its colonial rule.  Join us in 3 protests a year to force the US government to comply with the 34 UN resolutions asking it to decolonize immediately Puerto Rico.  We must protest, because those who have done what Denis’ described in his article, don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!

The problem with capitalism is that capital is more important than people

Click on the above link to read why.

The article never mentioned the real issues involved in the Puerto Rico crises.  It is not just about paying a debt.  If you think it is, you are missing practically the entire picture!

The article never mentioned, in a clear and direct manner, that Puerto Rico is a colony of the United States (US) government.  It never mentioned that the US government is committing a crime maintaining her as its colony for 117 years.  It never mentioned that the United Nations (UN) has petitioned the US government through 34 resolutions to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico, and just like this article ignored reality, it has ignored these resolutions.

The title of this article is, “What the United States Owes Puerto Rico.”  Well, let’s see.

The US government invaded Puerto Rico expressly to make her its colony.  It has exploited her for 117 years.  Specifically, for every dollar the US government invests in Puerto Rico, it gets back 14.  The conditions of Puerto Rico are the direct result of the US government’s unilateral policy.  Thus, it is the fault of the United States government for what is happening to Puerto Rico today.

The solution is not what this article called for.  Actually, it is a simple one for those who believe that people are more important than capital.  But, of course, what do you expect from THE WALL STREET JOURNAL?

This article said that it would be unjust and unacceptable for the US government to allow Puerto Rico to fall prey to the claws of vultures.  Puerto Rico’s biggest vulture today is the US government.  What makes this author believe that the US government cares about that!

The solution, of course, lies in international law.  It says that all nations have a right to self-determination and independence.  The solution is for the US government to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  To do otherwise is irrefutable proof that the US government is violating Puerto Ricans' human rights.  This article never mentioned that either!

Join us in 3 protests a year to insist that the US government comply with the 34 UN resolutions asking it to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  We must, because those who violates human rights by maintaining Puerto Ricans under colonial rule don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!

http://www.ipsnoticias.net/2015/05/estados-unidos-queda-desnudo-en-derechos-humanos/

Made in USA: tobacco with child labor

http://mm.hrw.org/content/made-usa-child-labor-tobacco
Click on the above link to see how children's' health and safety are being jeopardized by allowing them to work on tobacco farms in the United States (US).

The problem with capitalism is that capital is more important than children's welfare.  Isn't the United US government designed to benefit its citizens?  How are  US citizens being benefited by having their children's health and safety be at risk on these tobacco farms?

When citizens fear their government, we have tyranny.  When it is the other way around, we have democracy.

Join us in 3 protests a year to force the US government to comply with 34 United Nations resolutions asking it to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  We must, because those who allow our children to be at risk, and maintain Puerto Rico as a colony for 117 years don't believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!
