That is what a colony is for

Click on the following link to get an explanation of why Puerto Rico has been in a crisis for 120 years: https://www.facebook.com/moveon/videos/10154865854490493/

It is interesting that instead of the independence for Puerto Rico as being the answer to our problem, the video said that to change our economic model. What you witness with that is the US government successful training of Puerto Ricans to be afraid of political independence for themselves.

The United Nations has issued thus far 36 resolution asking the US government to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US government has refused. But, where are the 10 million Boricuas, on and off Borikén, protesting permanently to force it to comply with international law?

Instead, some say that our problem is a matter of changing the economic model of Puerto Rico. Why don’t they denounce the fact that the US government is committing a crime against humanity by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony? It seems that for some, if we change the economic model, they would have no problem with continuing being a colony of the United States.

Join us in our permanent protest to force the US government to comply with the UN resolutions, because those who have done what this video described don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

Condición de Puerto Rico ahora / Condition of Puerto Rico now

Entrevisté a Carmen en inglés, y a Benito and español.

I arrived in Puerto Rico today, Wednesday, October 25, 2017. I left on Wednesday, September 14, to return on Wednesday September 21, 2017. My return flight was cancelled twice by the airline, following Hurricane Maria. Carmen and Benito were at the airport to welcome me back home.
I interviewed them both to get their stories about Hurricane Maria. I interviewed Carmen in English, and Benito, in Spanish. Click on the following link to watch the video: https://youtu.be/sHaX3RVMrHM

I was very interested in their evaluations of the United States response to our crisis. The colonial administrator for the United States’ (US) government for Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rosselló, gave the US government an A, although the majority of Puerto Ricans have no electricity and running water. This government sent only 25% of the aid it sent to other states to Puerto Rico. Rosselló appraisal is reflective of a colonized minds that many Puerto Ricans have!

The US’ media coverage of Puerto Rico hides that the US government has maintained illegally Puerto Rico as its colony. Few people know that the United Nations has asked the US government via 36 resolutions to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, and that it has refused.

On the contrary, it has continued to exploit the island for 120 years, which has resulted in more Puerto Ricans now living off our island than in. The US’ plan is the gentrification of Puerto Rico! This is why the US’ aid to Puerto Rico has been slow, and world aid has been super slow to be allowed to get to us.

Join us in our permanent protests to force the US government to comply with these UN resolutions, because those who want to take our island away don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Why don’t Boricuas talk about their real problem?

The United States (US) Puerto Rico administrator and the US president met recently about Puerto Rico’s problems after Hurricane Maria. But, Puerto Rico’s real problem was never mentioned by either of them, or by the US press. Why? Click on this link to watch that conversation: https://youtu.be/vNWNJ2O7uWs

The US government is obsessed with maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony forever. That means that it is a terrorist state, based on the fact that the United Nations (UN) proclaimed colonialism a crime against humanity in 1960.

Do you know that the UN has asked the US government via 36 resolutions to give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? The US government has refused. How does the US government get away with that? Click this link to watch the 2016 UN hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The answer to that question is the answer to this question. How many people knew what I just revealed? Not many, because the US press does not report that.

When has the press reported that the US is a threat to world peace? When has the press reported that the UN holds an annual hearing on the Monday after Fathers’ Day to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization? When has the press broadcasted live on radio and television these hearings, so that the 3.4 million Puerto Ricans on their island, and the 5.5 million living in exile could be informed? When has CBS 60 Minutes television program, with a 50 year history and 34 Emmys, featured this crime? It is, as though, 120 years of US colonialism has never happened!

Why don’t Puerto Ricans talk about it? They don’t, because many Puerto Ricans have colonized minds. This is due to the US government’s control of everything that happens in Puerto Rico since 1898. Our real history is not taught. This is how you could prove that.

Ask a Puerto Rican if he knows this: The US congress classified Puerto Ricans as belonging to an inferior race in 1898. The US Congress, then, created a special law, non-incorporated territory, to exploit Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is still under this law. Click here for more information: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36JhWdy3iYU

It is up to us to inform ourselves, so that our real history could unite us. We will need a tsunami of people to force the US government to comply with the UN resolutions, because those who believe they are superior to other races don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

Why don’t they talk about Puerto Rico’s real problem?

Click on the following link to watch the video of United States (US) President Trump and the US administrator of the colony of Puerto Rico speaking about the aftermath of Hurricane Maria: https://youtu.be/vNWNJ2O7uWs

This video makes it seem as if Puerto Rico is not a colony of the United States since 1898. It is as though that fact has nothing to do with Puerto Rico’s fragile infrastructure to have successfully handled this hurricane.

How could Puerto Rico be administered for the interest of Puerto Ricans, when the United States government has exploited her for 120 years? The US government forced its citizenship on Puerto Ricans, but it is of a second classed nature. Why that is not part of the discussion the president and his colonial administrator is having here? Click this link to watch the UN’s 2016 hearing on Puerto Rico decolonization: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The US government, with the help of his Puerto Rico administrator and the US media, wants to hide that it is committing a crime against humanity by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony.
Most people are unaware that in 1960, the United Nations declared colonialism a crime against humanity. The US government is a terrorist state. But, the US government charges Oscar Lopez Rivera as being the terrorist.

That resulted in many sponsors boycotting this year’s New York Puerto Rican Day Parade, because it had decided to honor him as a hero. The fact of the matter is that Oscar has the right to use any means necessary to decolonize his homeland. Click this link for more information about the boycott: http://www.nbcnewyork.com/news/local/Yankees-FDNY-Latest-to-Boycott-Puerto-Rican-Day-Parade-423869444.html

The US government owes Puerto Rico at least ten times the amount that the US says we owe due to over a century of colonialism. All Puerto Ricans need to start talking about that! But they can’t, because the US government has hid this history from the world.

We must informed ourselves, so that we could have the correct information that will unite us. We must protest permanently to force the US government to comply with the UN 36 resolutions asking it to immediately give Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. We must, because those who deliberately hide history to continue to commits crimes against humanity don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
