Where is Bloom in US schools?

The educational psychologist Benjamin Bloom in the 1950’s identified 6 levels of thinking that teachers should develop in their students to create complete thinkers. Each level of thinking is progressively more challenging than the one before it. Complete thinkers are imperative, if the world is to advance through generations.

The 1% that controls the United States Government (USG), however, is not interested in having the 99% of the United States (US) citizens becoming complete thinkers. The 1% would rather keep them thinking at the first three levels, knowledge, comprehension and application, so that they could be more easily controlled. The 1%’s greatest fear is the education of the 99%, because it knows that a revolution would occur.

Thus, for a democracy to function correctly, the citizenry must develop higher order thinking skills that Bloom identified as analysis, synthesis and evaluation. Are US schools teaching that? Not if the 1% could help it!

Why do you think the US government is closing down so many schools in Puerto Rico, with the excuse that Puerto Rico owes a huge debt that she must repay?  The evidence that Puerto Ricans are not complete thinkers is that many of them believe that we do have a debt. Others believe that we owe part of it, and should have the debt audited to determine the correct amount.

Complete thinkers - the ones who have not allowed themselves to be indoctrinated by US colonialism -, however, would know that a colony is incapable of incurring a debt, because she has no right that the empire has to respect.

Complete thinkers would also not have participated in colonial elections in Puerto Rico as high as 85%. They would instead engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and the 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

In the case of the US 99%, you have General Smedley Butler’s book, “War is a Racket” https://ratical.org/ratville/CAH/warisaracket.html, numerous books by Noam Chomsky, David Vines’ book “United States of War” https://youtu.be/b8VpxkTUYWE and several surveys that show that the world considers the US as the biggest threat to world peace https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/08/07/polls-us-greatest-threat-to-peace-world-today.html. And yet, US citizens seem incapable of understanding that their own government is acting against their own interests. In essence, the US 1% is committing treason against the US! That is also proof that US citizens are also not operating on all of Bloom’s 6 levels of his taxonomy of cognitive development!

It, therefore, is incumbent on us to teach ourselves to become complete thinkers. The sooner we do, the sooner the revolution could begin. Let’s get started, because those who want only low level thinkers so that they could exploit us forever, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL. https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
We must be smart enough to save ourselves.

US national defense?

The role of the United States' (US) military is not one of national defense. On the contrary, David Vine illustrates quite convincingly that its role is obviously for national offense! Click on the following link to watch his video: https://youtu.be/b8VpxkTUYWE

US Major General Smedley Butler (US Marine Corps) warned the US citizens in the 1930’s of the same thing in his book, War is a Racket: https://ratical.org/ratville/CAH/warisaracket.html

The countries of the world know this to be a fact, as they have consistently identified, by far, the US government as the biggest threat to world peace. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/08/07/polls-us-greatest-threat-to-peace-world-today.html

David Vine makes a call for US citizens to become involved as to the need for their country to have 800 military bases in 80 countries around the world. Money spent unnecessarily for that takes away resources for the needy at home. That was precisely a major part of Dr. King’s opposition to the US government’s war in Vietnam.

Is democracy important? Do we really want peace on Earth? People need to think critically about the current state of affairs and take control of their governments. And if that can’t be accomplished, there is another question.

Do we really care about human rights, democracy, the rule of law, and JUSTICE FOR ALL?
Is the world bully-free?

Last year to eradicate colonialism

The United Nations (UN) has one more year to eradicate colonialism. It is in its 3rd international decade to do that. Why is it taking so long? https://www.un.org/dppa/decolonization/en/history/international-decades

The UN is a rubber stamp for the nations that have colonies. These empires were the winners of World War II, and designed the UN so that they could do whatever they want with impunity.

The United States Government (USG) lied to the UN in 1953 to get Puerto Rico off its list of colonies. The USG alleged that Puerto Rico had attained self-government in 1952 by virtue of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico. That is a camouflage to hide its colony.

The UN celebrates every June a hearing to discuss Puerto Rico’s decolonization. The hearing is usually on the Monday after Fathers’ Day. Here are some examples to demonstrate that the UN is dragging its feet!

You would have expected the UN to automatically put Puerto Rico back on its list of colonies as soon as it realized the USG’s deception. The UN, despite many petitioners asking it to do so, has not in 66 years. Therefore, the UN has allowed that the oldest and the most populated colony in the world is not on its list.

The annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing in June is not advertised in the media contrary to UN regulation to amply inform the public about decolonization. I bought the New York Daily News, the New York Post, and the New York Times the day before the 2019 hearing in New York City, and nothing was mentioned about it and the fact that the USG has been committing a crime against humanity by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 121 years! You would think that that would be news in a city with a Puerto Rican population of 723,621!

The UN does not regularly broadcast live on radio and television its Puerto Rico decolonization hearing. Does that help in the eradication of colonialism?

We tried in 2015 to get the UN to broadcast the hearing live, and it ignored us. We decided to do it ourselves in 2016. The UN apparently didn’t like it, because suddenly my name wasn’t on the list of petitioners for that year’s hearing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Various groups campaigned in 2019 to get the UN to broadcast the hearing live. The UN consented, however, it did not broadcast the afternoon session: Click here to watch the morning session: http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Therefore, Puerto Ricans can’t expect the UN to ever decolonize Puerto Rico on its own. Where do we go from here?

We have to create a tsunami of almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and the 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

Be a part of the Boricua tsunami, because those who want to have colonies today, tomorrow and forever don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

It won’t happen unless we push it!

The importance of indigenous medicine

Dr. Charles McWilliams wrote an article this year about colonial and monastic medicine of the Americas during the age of discovery. Click on the following link to read his article: http://infoaldesnudo.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/12/COLONIAL-MONASTIC-MEDICINE-DURING-THE-AGE-OF-DISCOVERY.pdf

Dr. McWilliams has plans to open a medical school and hospital in Puerto Rico. I had the privilege of interviewing him about that a few years ago. Click on the following link to watch that interview: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_4AO5L7UzI&t=582s

We need not reinvent the wheel.

Buscando boricuas rebeldes

How will PR be decolonized?

Is it possible to have democratic elections in a colony? Is it possible for Puerto Ricans to achieve real self-government via the colonial elections in Puerto Rico? It is possible for the United States Government (USG) to decolonize Puerto Rico? If you answer yes, you, like the majority of Puerto Ricans have a decolonized mind. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDISx1jHboE&t=10s

The empire has turned us up-side-down to keep us colonized. Here is the evidence:

1. The USG governs Puerto Rico exclusively for its interests, although Puerto Rico belongs to the Puerto Ricans

2. More Puerto Ricans live out than in their own national territory

3. Puerto Ricans import on expensive United States ships 85% of what we eat, even though we could produce all the food that we need

4. Puerto Ricans are citizens of a country that is not theirs

5. The USG recruits more soldiers for its armed forces in Puerto Rico than in any of the 50 states of the Union. How is it possible that a government recruits more people of another nation at a higher rate than the 1st class citizens of its own nation?

The United Nations (UN) will not decolonize us, regardless whether Puerto Rico is on or off the UN’s list of colonies. Neither will the UN decolonize us even if our case were to be discussed at the UN’s general assembly.

The problem is that the UN was created in 1945 by the winners of World War II. Those winners are the ones that have colonies. Therefore, they designed the UN to do whatever they want with impunity!

Nevertheless, the international law does exist giving all nations the inalienable right to self-determination and independence. To demand it, however, Puerto Ricans must first decolonize our minds. That will not be easy!

Puerto Ricans have a history of over 500 years of living under colonialism. The Spanish and American governments have conditioned us by turning our world up-side-down so that we would not oppose being enslaved.

Puerto Ricans, therefore, will have to learn our real history to understand the need to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the UN’s Charter and its 38 resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

The word is mightier than the sword. The truth will set us free. Let’s wake up, because those who will continue to exploit us until we stop them don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
The truth will set us free!
