Why is colonialism a crime against humanity?

Have you ever heard of …?

1. You can’t save people from themselves
2. A mind is a terrible thing to waste
3. You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink it
4. Those who can’t remember their history are condemned to relive it

Colonialism is a crime, because it fosters the development of all of the above. Here is how.

The colonizer must maintain the colonized ignorant, so that he doesn’t realize that he is being victimized. Here is a good example.

Many Puerto Ricans don’t know that our country is a colony of the United States (US) Government (USG)! Many believe that Puerto Rico is a democracy, and that if we don’t vote, then others will make decisions for us. Many of us believe that, because the USG controls everything in Puerto Rico.

The US schools, therefore, don’t teach us that Puerto Ricans have no right that the USG has to respect. The USG uses the Treaty of Paris of 1898 to justify its control over Puerto Rico.

The USG went to war in 1898 to take away Puerto Rico, Cuba, Guam and the Philippines from Spain. Spain saw that coming, and offered Cuba and Puerto Rico self-government in 1897. Cuba refused it, because she wanted to continue fighting for her independence. Puerto Rico, however, accepted her offer to become a province of Spain. At the time of the US’ military invasion, Puerto Rico had real self-government via the 1897 Autonomic Charter with Spain.

The USG totally ignored this, and forced Spain to sign the Treaty of Paris that ceded Puerto Rico to the USG. The treaty contained language that basically says that Puerto Ricans have no rights that the USG has to respect. Click on this link for more: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=15s

Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 121 years, because most Puerto Ricans don’t know our real history. And this oblivion has resulted in that more Puerto Ricans live away from our homeland, due to a designed lack of opportunities for us in our national territory.

Our salvation lies in learning our past, and pushing for our decolonization. We could then activate the almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism, and the 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

There is no time to waste, because those who have committed a crime against humanity for over a century, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

Why a good job to the China virus?

The United States (US) Government (USG) made a complete turnaround with China, after the corona virus landed in the US. It went from "China is doing a good job", to blaming China for giving the world the China virus. Click on the following link to watch that unfold: https://youtu.be/A5uNvE62zeg

What changed was that Trump thought that the USG would come out of the coronavirus like after World War II. Europe was devastated, and the USG made a lot of money in her reconstruction.

But now that the USG knows that it will come out the worst from the pandemic, it wants to blame China for all of the USG's mismanagement.

The USG doesn’t care about the people. It cares about its rich citizens not being able to become even richer. And, the USG is upset that China will be the nation that will benefit the most financially from the pandemic.

Although some people may doubt my analysis, the following is fact.

The USG has never complied with United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. The USG has ignored with impunity 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. It is therefore obvious that the USG believes that it is above the law! What could Puerto Ricans do?  http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

The almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide could engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. The international community would have to support our inalienable right to self-determination and independence.

Only the Chinese could have saved the Chinese. Similarly, only the Puerto Ricans could save the Puerto Ricans!

Let’s push our decolonization, because those who care more about Wall Street than human beings, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

A Puerto Rican revolution.

Does USA have any credibility left?

The United States (US) government (USG) wants to make China pay for the tragedy that the coronavirus has caused in the US. China had originally charged the USG of giving her the Coronavirus, since a component of the virus must be created in a laboratory for biological warfare. It is important to note that the Gallup International poll shows that the world considers the USG, with 24%, as the biggest threat to peace, and China as number 3, with 6%. China is 4 times less than the USG! https://www.globalresearch.ca/polls-u-s-is-the-greatest-threat-to-peace-in-the-world-today/5603342

Now, the USG is saying that a US citizen created the virus and sold it to China. At this point, we don’t know what really happened, but it seems very likely to me that the USG is desperately trying to save face!

Click on the following link to watch a video that clearly shows, though in a comical way, the reckless USG’s handling of the corona virus since Trump got briefed about a possible pandemic when he became president: https://youtu.be/_KY83kAepHE

Although we may not know for a while the real story, we do know without a doubt that the USG has violated with impunity the United Nations’ (UN) Charter the prohibits colonialism since 1945, and have ignored with impunity 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Therefore, it is incumbent on the almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. We must do that, because those who want only others to comply with the rule of law, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

The world sees the USA as the biggest threat to peace!

White House Coronavirus briefing

The Whitehouse held a coronavirus briefing today. Note the sense of urgency of the United States Government (USG) for the coronavirus in this briefing as compared to how Puerto Ricans were treated after Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Isn’t it striking? Click on this link to watch the briefing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u2S7nCa1nrA

It is obvious that the well-being of Puerto Ricans is not important to the USG.

Therefore, it is incumbent on the almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the UN’s Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

Let’s get started, because those who racially discriminate don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

Only we could take care of ourselves!

US wants China to pay for the coronavirus

A Florida law firm has filed a law suit to make China pay for the coronavirus pandemic. Click on the following link to watch that video: https://youtu.be/dTwZmQrA_5Y

The 0.1% of the citizens of the United States (US) are trying to do damage control, as they see their tremendous losses continue to mount due to the pandemic. The spokesperson for the law firm talked about the rule of law to force China to pay for the alleged damages that she has caused the US.

This same group that appears so righteous in its allegations against China, however, has never cared for the rule of law with regards to the Puerto Ricans!

The USG has violated with impunity the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945. Moreover, the USG has ignored with impunity 38 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Now, suddenly, when the shoe is on the other foot, the USG has great respect for the rule of law to punish China! http://webtv.un.org/watch/5th-meeting-committee-of-24-special-committee-on-decolonization/6051725003001/

The spokesperson talked about putting pressure on China to take responsibility for what she has done. Similarly, the almost 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide must engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law, because those who see only when they have been hurt, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

But USA doesn’t want to pay for her wrongdoings.

International Human Rights Experts Denounce U.S. Record on Racial and Ethnic Discrimination

March 7, 2008

American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) Applauds Recommendations and Demands Immediate Action

GENEVA — A United Nations (UN) committee today issued a strongly worded critique of the United States' record on racial discrimination and urged the government to make sweeping reforms to policies affecting racial and ethnic minorities, women, and immigrants in this country. The American Civil Liberties Union called on the U.S. government to take vigorous steps to implement the committee's recommendations and fulfill its human rights treaty obligations.

"The message from the U.N. Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination is clear when it comes to the U.S.' record on human rights and racial equality — the government can't just talk the talk, it must also walk the walk," said Jamil Dakwar, Advocacy Director of the ACLU Human Rights Program. "To claim the high moral ground and assert leadership on the issue of human rights, the U.S government must address the systemic discrimination and injustice that exists in its own backyard."

The CERD committee, which oversees compliance with an international treaty to end racial discrimination that was ratified by the U.S. in 1994, reviewed testimony and research by the ACLU and other human rights groups before issuing its final report. Representatives of the ACLU were in Geneva last month to testify before the Committee on the Elimination of Racial Discrimination (CERD) on the state of racial and ethnic discrimination in the U.S.

Among its recommendations, the committee called on the U.S. to:
  • Pass the federal End Racial Profiling Act or similar legislation and combat widespread ethnic and racial profiling practices by law enforcement, especially against Arabs, Muslims and South Asians in the wake of the 9/11 attacks;
  • Protect non-citizens from being subjected to torture and abuse by means of transfer or rendition to foreign countries for torture;
  • Adopt and strengthen the use of affirmative action programs to eliminate discrimination, and allow school districts to voluntarily promote school integration;
  • Eliminate systemic inadequacies in criminal defense programs that have a disproportionate effect on indigent minorities and ensure competent counsel in all cases;
  • Address the problem of the school-to-prison pipeline — the trend of funneling minority children into prison;
  • Restrict felony disfranchisement policies and eliminate barriers to post-sentence voting rights restoration;
  • Address the problem of violence against indigenous, minority and immigrant women, including migrant workers, and especially domestic workers; and
  • Pass the Civil Rights Act of 2008 or similar legislation, and otherwise ensure the rights of minority and immigrant workers, including undocumented migrant workers, to effective protection and remedies when their employers have violated their human rights.

Also in Geneva today, the U.N. Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants, Jorge Bustamante, presented a report on the injustices faced by migrants and immigrants in the U.S., denouncing immigrant detention policies and facilities that fail to meet international standards and have few protections for the rights of migrant workers.

Bustamante's report also expresses concern about employment and health abuses suffered by migrant workers, specifically pointing to labor issues in post-Katrina New Orleans that he calls a "human right crisis."

"The U.S. should heed the recommendations of this international expert and do more to create fair, humane policies and conditions for immigrant communities in this country," said Chandra Bhatnagar, staff attorney with the ACLU Human Rights Program. "It's time for the government to match its soaring rhetoric on the importance of human rights globally with a renewed commitment to protecting the rights of vulnerable immigrants here at home."

The ACLU is calling on the government to adopt the recommendations made by Bustamante in his report, including:
  • Eliminating mandatory detention of undocumented immigrants and determining whether non-citizens pose a risk to society on a case-by-case basis;
  • Allowing immigrants in detention the chance to have their custody reviewed before an immigration judge;
  • Creating binding human rights standards governing the treatment of immigration detainees in all facilities, including the removal of non-citizen children from jail-like detention centers;
  • Establishing standards for the mental and medical health needs of migrant women who have been the victims of mental, physical, or sexual abuse;
  • Ending harassment and racial profiling of migrant workers by local and federal law enforcement agents; and
  • Ensuring health, safety and labor protections for migrant workers and providing health benefits for migrant workers injured on the job.

Last year, Bustamante conducted a three-week fact finding mission at the request of the U.S. government, visiting a detention center in Arizona and meeting with migrant communities and government officials in California, Arizona, Texas, Georgia, Florida, New York and Washington D.C. During that time Bustamante was denied entrance to New Jersey's Monmouth County Correctional Institution and Texas's Hutto immigration detention center, a converted prison that currently houses about 150 immigrants, including children and asylum seekers. In 2007, the ACLU filed successful federal lawsuits that resulted in the release of 26 children and greatly improved conditions at the Hutto facility. The U.S. has a history of blocking international experts from access to controversial detention facilities.
