The United States government (USG) only represents 1% of its citizens. That is why, the rich become richer, as the poor become poorer.

The USG is a failure for the 87%. Benjamin Franklin said that we have a republic, if we could keep it. Obviously, we have lost the republic for a plutocracy.

2022 must be the year for the people to make our government represent all of us. That must be our New Year’s resolution.

Apparently these 2 New Yorkers are oblivious to why Puerto Rico was once known for her excellent coffee, and why it diminished. They seem to also not understand why Boricuas leave our national territory to the point that today more Boricuas live away. The reason is colonialism!

The United States (US) government (USG) militarily invaded Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony. Before that, Puerto Rico was worldly known as the producer of excellent coffee. Puerto Ricans coffee was the preferred coffee of popes and kings!

Most people are unaware that the USG is committing a crime against humanity by keeping Puerto Rico colonized for the past 76 years. The USG is violating the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism.

Boricuas’ call for decolonization

The almost 9 million Boricuas worldwide should engage immediately in permanent resistance to force the United States (US) government (USG) to decolonize Boriken.

33 years after the US Civil War, the USG decided to militarily invade Boriken to enslave Boricuas. Boriken is still a US colony after 123 years.

Most Boricuas are oblivious to the fact that the USG has been committing a crime against humanity by refusing to decolonize Boriken.

The United Nations’ (UN) Charter prohibits colonialism since 1945. 45% of Boricuas live today in poverty, and more Boricuas live away than in our national territory as a result of the USG’s illegal occupation of Boriken.

El GEU es la amenaza más grande a la paz mundial. El mundo lo ha expresado así vía repetidas encuestas repetidas. El GEU desprecia la ley internacional. El GEU cree que esta sobre la ley, y por eso no hay justicia en Estados Unidos.

El GEU invadió militarmente  a Puerto Rico en 1898 para hacerla su colonial. Por eso es que hay una pobreza de 45% en Boriken, después de 123 años de su invasión. Por eso es que también hay más boricuas viviendo fuera, que dentro de nuestro territorio nacional. ¡El GEU quiere seguir explotándonos ahora, mañana y para siempre!    

Por eso, el GEU nunca ha cumplido con la Carta de la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) del 1945 que prohíbe el colonialismo. Campeón estado fallido

Noam Chomsky describió en su libro “FAILED STATES” lo que son. Ellos son gobiernos que no proveen protección a sus ciudadanos, no les garantizan sus derechos domésticos y fuera del país, y no les proveen instituciones democráticas que funcionan.

El gobierno de Estados Unidos (GEU) es un estado fallido admitido por sus propios ciudadanos. Ahora mismo, solo el 13% de los ciudadanos estadounidense están satisfecho con nuestro gobierno. El GEU se ha convertido en un gobierno fallido, porque también es un estado criminal. ¡El GEU le tiene desprecio total a la ley internacional!  

China, por el contrario, le tiene respecto a la ley internacional. China ha sacado a 850 millones de chinos de la pobreza extrema. Eso es casi 3 veces la población estadounidense. Por eso, y como contraste gigantesco al GEU, el 95.5% de los chinos están satisfecho con su gobierno. Sin embargo, el GEU dice que China no es democrático.

El GEU dice que favorece la independencia de Hong Kong y Taiwán. Lo dice, porque eso le beneficiaria al 1% de su ciudadanía, y le podría ayudarlo a mantener su hegemonía. Si realmente el GEU le interesaría la autodeterminación de las naciones, ¿Por qué ha hecho lo opuesto con Puerto Rico durante los últimos 76 años?

El GEU invadió militarmente a Puerto Rico para hacerla su colonia. ¿No es eso lo mismo que el GEU acusa a China querer hacer con Hong Kong y Taiwán?

The ultimate failed state

Noam Chomsky described in his book FAILED STATES what they are. They are governments that don’t provide protections for their citizens, don’t guarantee their rights at home and abroad, and don’t provide them with functioning democratic institutions.

The United States (US) government (USG) is a failed states by its own citizens’ admission. Right now, only 13% of US citizens are satisfied with our government. The USG has become a failed state, because it is also an outlaw state. The USG has utter contempt for international law!

China, on the other hand, respects international law. China has lifted 850 million Chinese out of extreme poverty. That is almost 3 times the US population. And in stark contrast to the US, 95.5% of China’s citizens are satisfied with their government. Yet, the USG claims that China is not democratic.

The USG says it supports the independence of Hong Kong and Taiwan. It does, because that would benefit the 1% of its citizens, and hopefully help maintain its hegemony. If the USG really cared about a nation’s right to self-determination, why has it done the opposite with Puerto Rico for the past 76 years?
