When democracy means imperialism

The United States (US) government (USG) calls imperialism democracy. So when the USG invades a country supposedly to make her democratic, the USG really means that it wants that country as its colony. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/06zgJxhGA8Q

That was what happened to Puerto Rico 33 years after the US Civil War. The USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898. 123 years later, Puerto Rico is still a US colony!

To accomplish that, the USG has violated for the past 76 years the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialisam since its establishment. Furthermore, the USG has also ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Its actions have nothing to do with real democracy, and everything to do with real imperialism! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The USG is in reality a plutocracy.

We must force the USG to represent all of its people, and not just the 1%. Because, 99% is closer to “we the people”! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

1% can’t be “we the people”!

US government is bought

The wealthiest United States (US) citizens (1%) want you to believe that big government reduces your freedom in a democracy. Big government, however, isn’t the problem.

The real problem is that the 1% has bought the US government. And thus, the 99% of us have no say in our democracy. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/yTou0ViHOXM

Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 123 years, because that benefits the 1%. In order to accomplish that, the 1% has violated for the past 76 years the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism. Colonialism is a crime against humanity!

The 1% has also ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Its refusal has nothing to do with democracy, and everything to do with the rich getting richer! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The people must force our government to represent all of us, if we want a real democracy. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Make the US not for sale!

The democratic intolerability of capitalism

Capitalism and democracy are antagonistic. The United States (US), that proclaims herself as being the beacon of democracy, has today only 13% of her citizens satisfied with our government. That, on the contrary, is a failed government! Click on the following link to watch a video about how we could do better: https://youtu.be/JAwYhXzuegM

Where is democracy for Puerto Ricans for the past 123 years? The US government militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898.

Where is US democracy when she has refused for the past 76 years to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity?

Where is US democracy when she has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Democracy isn’t what you say. Democracy is what you do. And capitalism will not do democracy! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

We must do democracy to be democratic.

Who should determine what democracy is?

Since democracy means that the sovereignty of a nation is in the hands of her people, the people are in the best position to judge how democratic their nation is. And, should a second opinion be needed, the international community would be next in line. But under no circumstances, should any single nation be the judge of democracy. Click on the following link to watch a video about how the People’s Republic of China understands democracy: https://youtu.be/3r0vXbAapyM

Today, 850 million Chinese have been lifted out of extreme poverty. That is almost 3 times the populations of the United States (US)! 95.5% of Chinese are satisfied with their government.

Conversely, the US government (USG) has 2.5 million homeless children. How could that support the USG’s claim that it is the beacon of democracy? Today, only 13% of US citizens are satisfied with their government. At best, the US is a failing democracy!

We could live in peace, if all people were satisfied with our nations’ democracies.

Democracy mean justice for all.

McKinley presided Puerto Rico’s colonization

During the presidency of William McKinley, the United States’ (US) government (USG) militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898. McKinley was assassinated three years later. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/HN6SCCnp-vE

123 years later, Puerto Rico is still a US colony in violation to the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945. Colonialism is a crime against humanity under international law.

The USG, however, has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Puerto Rico will continue to be a US colony until the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide, who are the ones with the inalienable right to self-determination and independence, engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

McKinley is among 4 US presidents assassinated while in office.

Peace could be created, but only through justice!

Capitalism is slavery

Despite our belief that capitalism means freedom, the reality is that it means slavery. United States (US) citizens have absolutely no say in our so-called democracy. The capitalists do. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/pMALdj8u_do

Puerto Rico is an excellent example of this.

The US government (USG) militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898. That was 33 years after its civil war that formally ended slavery.

The USG today is in violation of the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945. Thus, the USG is knowingly committing a crime against humanity. We didn’t need Julian Assange to tell us that!

Moreover, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Only 13% of US citizens are satisfied today with our government. If democracy means ruled by the consent of the people, the US does not have the consent of 87% of us!

We must decolonize our minds from US corporate indoctrination, and take control of our government. If we can’t do that, that is further proof that we live under a plutocracy. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

A plutocracy masked as a democracy.
