La Modernidad es el imperialismo que llegó al nuevo mundo con los conquistadores europeos y que busca permanecer para siempre. 

Por eso es que 40 millones de americanos  hoy viven en la pobreza, y 201 millones viven de cheque a cheque, mientras que 9 de los 10 hombres más ricos del mundo son ciudadanos estadounidenses.

Y, por eso es que Estados Unidos ha consistentemente ignorado 42 resoluciones de la Organización de Naciones Unidas exigiendo que devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños. Mientras tanto, 6 millones de puertorriqueños han abandonado nuestro territorio nacional (gentrificación), y la mitad de los 3 millones que viven en Puerto Rico viven en la pobreza.

If the US really believes in democracy, why are 40 million Americans today living in poverty, and 201 million living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens?

Moreover, why has the US consistently refused to comply with 42 UN's resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? That has resulted, as what the US wants to do today in Gaza, that 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned our national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people living in Puerto Rico live in poverty.

Today, half of the Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico want our homeland to become the 51st state of the Union in order to have equality. Puerto Ricans will never have equality, as long as oligarchs govern the US.

Equality is impossible with criminals!

The United States (US) Empire has votoed once again the United Nations' (UN) Charter by proposing to ethnically cleanse the indigenous people of Palestine from Gaza, so that it could be developed for the rich. Why Gaza's ethnic cleansing won't work

US imperialism is experiencing more resistance, as the world becomes multipolar. The US is already antagonistic with 85% of the world, and the rest of the 15% of the people don't want their governments to continue being US allies.  

The world is challenging the days when might makes right. A world where in order to have 9 of the 10 richest men in the world being US citizens, you must have 40 million Americans living in poverty, and 201 million living from paycheck to paycheck. And, the US must violate international law in order to maintain Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 127 years!

The US must be above the law, if it wants a government of, by and for oligarchs. 

Only the people can change that!

The People’s Republic of China, conversely, has eradicated poverty since 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population. The US doesn’t defend human rights either. The US continues to destroy Puerto Rico by consistently refusing to comply with 42 United Nations' resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US has brainwashed half of those living in Puerto Rico that they would be better off being the 51st state of the Union. So instead of pushing the US to comply with international law, Puerto Ricans help the US maintain its imperialism upon ourselves by supporting unnecessary plebiscites. These plebiscites are illegal, because in order for them to be valid, the people must first be free!

The US will never save Puerto Ricans.
