¿En qué lado está la ONU?

El gobierno de Estados Unidos invadió a Puerto Rico el 25 de julio de 1898 para convertirla en su colonia.

Don Pedro Albizu Campos se convierte en el presidente del Partido Nacionalista de Puerto Rico en los años 1930 para lograr la independencia de su patria.

El gobierno de Estados Unidos decidió no respectarle el derecho inalienable de los puertorriqueños a su autodeterminación e independencia. Por eso, el gobierno persiguió y mató a los independentistas.

El gobierno de Estados Unidos decidió tratar de esconder su colonia con el embeleco del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico (ELA) en el 1950. Los nacionalistas hacen su insurrección el 30 de octubre de ese año para des mascararlo. ¿Que hace la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU)?

La ONU le quitó su asiento al Partido Nacionalista de Puerto Rico en la ONU. ¿En qué lado está la ONU?

La misma ONU dice que el coloniaje es un crimen en contra de la humanidad y por eso cualquiera que viva en una colonia tiene el derecho de usar todos los medios necesarios para descolonizar su patria. ¿Por qué la misma ONU está violando su propia Carta?

Los puertorriqueños aprueban en el 1952 el embuste de la supuesta Constitución del Estado Libre Asociado de Puerto Rico en una supuestamente elección libre, aunque los mismos puertorriqueños somos esclavos estadounidenses.    

El gobierno de Estados Unidos le pidió engañosamente a la ONU en el 1953 que removiera a Puerto Rico de su lista de colonias, porque los puertorriqueños tenían gobierno propio desde el 1952. La ONU aceptó su petición. 

   

Nuevamente, los nacionalistas usan su derecho a usar todos los medios necesarios para descolonizase y atacan el Congreso estadounidense el 1 de marzo de 1954 para llamar la atención al embuste del gobierno de Estados Unidos ante la ONU el año anterior.

La ONU ha emitido hasta hoy 37 resoluciones pidiéndole al gobierno de Estados Unidos que le devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños, pero la ONU nunca ha devuelto a Puerto Rico a su lista de colonias. Puerto Rico es la colonia más vieja y más poblada de todas las 17 colonias que aparecen en su lista. ¿En qué lado esta la ONU?

The United Nations (UN) was founded 5 years after this film was made. The UN Charter made it a crime against humanity for one nation to have another nation as her colony. The USG has violated the UN Charter since it was drafted in 1945.

Do you know that the USG has also violated up to the present 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? The USG has not wanted Puerto Rico to have that democracy mentioned in the title of its film in 120 years!

The UN has no Plan B for PR

The UN is dragging its feet on Puerto Rico decolonization to say the least! The UN has allowed the United States Government (USG) to violate its own Charter of which the USG is a member since its creation in 1945.

Moreover, the UN has allowed the USG to violate all 37 of its resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. What has been the UN’s Plan B to get the job done? It doesn’t have one!

When we proposed to the UN that these annual hearings be broadcasted live instead of being blacked-out to the general public, it ignored us. And when we broadcasted it ourselves in 2016, the UN took me off its list of petitioners for that year. So my question is, who is the UN working for? Obama was part of the problem

Obama lied. Obama knows that Puerto Rico’s solution is not whatever the Puerto Rican people decide for their political status. That is the US' standard lie to maintain Puerto Rico as its colony. The real answer is that the United Nations (UN) decided what a nation that has a colony must do when it drafted its Charter in 1945.

The UN Charter makes it clear that no nation should have another nation as her colony, and thus the solution is decolonization. That means that the empire must release the colony from its control. The fact of the matter is that the US government has been violating the UN Charter for 73 years!

Moreover, the US government has violated 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s Sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

Obama is a brilliant man, and he knows that. The Puerto Rican reporter does not, because most Puerto Ricans know only the history that the US government wants them to know. And that history is designed to keep Puerto Rico a US colony forever!

PR Independence history

The professor is incapable of saying that the US government has committed a crime against humanity for having had Puerto Rico as its colony for 120 years.

The professor is unaware that Puerto Ricans refused the US government’s citizenship offer in 1917.

The professor is unaware that the US government on purpose forced its citizenship on Puerto Ricans, because it doesn’t want Puerto Rico to escape from its control.

The professor is oblivious to the US government’s plan to get Puerto Ricans out of Puerto Rico, so that the US government could have Puerto Rico for itself.

The professor is oblivious to the fact that in 1898, the US government classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race. And that hat was the reason the US government legislated the unincorporated territory status to prohibit extending the US Constitution to Puerto Rico to exploit her forever.

The professor could not answer the moderator’s question about what she thought will happen with Puerto Rico. I don’t know why, because the history has been very clear. The US government plans to maintain Puerto Rico a colony forever.

Therefore, we ask the 99% of us to join in permanent resistance to force the US government to comply with the United Nations’ Charter and its 37 resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
