Freedom never given voluntarily

The 13 American colonies tried to reason with Britain for freedom, but she refused. The only way the 13 colonies liberated themselves was through their Revolutionary War.

Those who commit crimes against humanity are not morale people. They will never do what is morally right, unless you force them to.

The governor of Alabama, George Wallace, said, “Segregation now, segregation tomorrow, and segregation forever!”

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was jailed in Birmingham, Alabama for attempting to push for the end of racial segregation. Some religious leaders in Birmingham criticized his actions. Click on the following link to hear in Dr. King’s own words his response to them (Letter from Birmingham Jail): https://youtu.be/Di05SvJ8utI

54 years after Dr. King’s death, racism is still rampant, and the United States (US) is closer than ever to another civil war!

Puerto Rico is still a US colony after 123 years. The US government (USG) is still in violation of the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism. Moreover, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide must force the USG to comply with international law. Just like Dr. King, we must take direct action! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Demand our freedom via direct action.

Agriculture is key to PR liberty

Puerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 123 years. The US government (USG) has violated the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism in order to maintain Puerto Rico colonized. The USG has also ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Colonialism, if you didn’t know, is a crime against humanity!

Thomas Jefferson saw agriculture as a formidable way to obtain the independence of the 13 American Colonies from Britain. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/Ne-wVINoF04

Puerto Rico right now imports 80% of the food that Puerto Ricans eat. Since the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide will have to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law and decolonize Puerto Rico, one aspect of that resistance should be becoming agriculturally self-sufficient.

Puerto Rico should begin with coffee, since she was known throughout the world for her excellence in that crop. And, as Puerto Rico becomes less profitable to the US’ 1% of citizens, Puerto Ricans will get closer to obtaining our independence. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Farming to hasten our freedom.

Weaken US democracy?

This news report contributes to the fantasy that the United States (US) is a democracy. The fantasy that the US government (USG) represents 100% of its citizens. But, if that were true, why is the 99% of us getting poorer, while the 1% are getting richer? Why is the US the epicenter of the coronavirus?

The problem is not the infighting between the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. The problem is that the US is not a democracy. The US is a plutocracy! Click on the following link to watch that news report that distracts attention from the real problem: https://youtu.be/OVG07QaSXyc

The USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico 123 years ago, because the US is not a democracy. Making Puerto Rico a US colony favors the 1% of US citizens.

The USG has refused to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism, because that favors the 1%. Colonialism, by the way, is a crime against humanity!

The USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, because that favors the 1% too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

When President Franklyn D. Roosevelt instituted his “New Deal” in the 1930’s to help the 99% of US citizens survive the Great Depression, the 1% tried to assassinate him. Major General Smedley Butler blew the whistle. George W. Bush’s grandfather, Prescott, was one of the plotters. Nothing ever happened to the conspirators. Is that the way a democracy is supposed to operate?

If we want a real democracy, we have to make that happen, by engaging in permanent resistance against want the 1% of US citizens want. https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

You can’t weaken what you don’t have.

The immorality of Capitalism

How could capitalism be moral when it allows the richest 10% of people in the world to own 76% of the world’s wealth, and the bottom 50% to own only 2%? It is immoral that we have the ability to end poverty in the world, but, because of capitalism, choose not to. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/8X-hmqIXvQ8

Capitalism could never lead to justice for all. A system in line with the Golden Rule, however could. Imagine an economic system where we "do onto others as you would have them do onto you.”

You may say I’m a dreamer, but I hope I’m not the only one!

Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream too.

Threat to justice

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said that, “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” The United States (US) government (USG) was the reason he said that. Click on the following link to watch a documentary about some of the injustices in the US: https://youtu.be/TwwdieGdwc0

As a religious leader, Martin understood the need for people to find peace. But, in order for peace to be had, one must have justice. And this is why today, 54 years after the assassination of Martin, the US is closer than ever to another civil war.

31 years before Martin was born, the USG committed another injustice. The USG militarily invaded Puerto Rico to make her its colony. And that was 33 years after the end of the US Civil War that formally ended slavery.

The USG again committed an injustice by refusing in 1945 to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity. And as if that was not enough, the USG has ignored 40 UN resolutions, thus far, asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The people must force our government to represent all of us. The people want justice for all. And when that happens, we’ll have peace too! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Absence of peace anywhere is a threat to peace everywhere.

Russia outperforms US exceptionalism

With about 750 military bases all around the world, and spending more money on her military than all of her competitors combined, Russia, in a few minutes, could easily destroy the United States’ (US) national territory without her ever knowing it. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/uRI1f1qoFfo

The USG’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic proved that the lives of its people are not a priority. The US today is closer than ever to another civil war.

Was the USG’s military invasion of Puerto Rico to make her its colony in 1898 an example of its exceptionalism? Was the USG’s decision to violate the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism, to continue having Puerto Rico colonized for the 1% of its citizens, another example of exceptionalism? And, is the USG’s decision to ignore every year (40 thus far) UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, still another example? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

The USG will destroy its people again, unless we engage in permanent resistance to force it to represent all of us. The US could be destroyed in minutes, because our government chooses to be an outlaw state! https://todosunidosdescolonizarpr.blogspot.com/

Better to be lawful than criminally exceptional.
