Many Puerto Ricans are confused about why the United
States’ (US) government refused to help Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. That
is because many of them don’t know their own history. The US government has
hidden the real Puerto Rican history from them on purpose, so that Puerto
Ricans won’t fight to decolonize their homeland. Click on the following link to

Many Puerto Ricans don’t know that the US government devaluated
the Puerto Rican dollar 40% after its military occupation. Many don’t know that
they had more rights before the US military invasion than afterwards. Many don’t
know that US citizenship was forced on them in 1917. Many don’t know that the
US government made sure that, in the Treaty of Paris of 1898, it contained the
language of the slave case of Dred Scott vs Sanford, that Puerto Ricans have no
rights that the US government must respect. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4uOabch_jSo&feature=youtu.be
The US government didn’t extend its constitution to Puerto
Ricans, because it believes that Puerto Ricans are an inferior race. Therefore,
the US government decided to design a special category to place Puerto Rico. It
invented the unincorporated territory. Puerto Rico is still today in this political
status. It means that Puerto Rico belongs to but is not a part of the United
States of America. Puerto Rico, in plain language, is a US colony.
The US governments violates the United Nations’ Charter
by doing this. It also has violated thus far 36 UN resolutions asking it to immediately
return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Many Puerto Ricans believe that Puerto Rico’s problems
could be fixed through the US government’s electoral system. But, that is only
a US created illusion, to keep Puerto Rico trapped in its 120 years of colonialism.
We must fight outside US control structures.
We must organize ourselves to engage in permanent
resistance to force the US government to comply with the desire of the
international community. We need to create a tsunami of nearly 10 million
Puerto Ricans to do this, because those who allow Puerto Ricans to die after a
hurricane don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
