La 5ta Marcha Oscar – Mandela en la ciudad de Nueva
York por la descolonización de Puerto Rico se realizó el lunes, 18 de junio de
2018 desde Hunter College a la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU). Hubo una manifestación
a las 5:30 PM en el Parque Ralph Bunche con algunos discursos de los

Norma de “A Call to Action” dijo que todos los meses estarán 120 personas frente de la ONU protestando por la independencia de
Puerto Rico. El número 120 representa los años de coloniaje que el Gobierno de
Estados Unidos (GEU) ha mantenido a Puerto Rico como su colonia.
Es importante destacar que el GEU no solo ha violado
la Carta de la ONU desde 1945, pero también 37 resoluciones pidiéndole que le
devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños.

The 5th
Oscar – Mandela March in New York City for Puerto Rico decolonization was
carried out on Monday, June 18, 2018 from Hunter College to the United Nations
(UN). The rally at the Ralph Bunche Part started at 5:30 PM, with some

Norma of “A
Call to Action” said that every month 120 people will be protesting at the UN
for Puerto Rico independence. The number 120 represents the amount of years
that the USG has maintained Puerto Rico as its colony.
It is
important to highlight that the United States Government has, not only
violated the UN charter since 1945, but also 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately
return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
