The group Urban
Community Solidarity headed by activist Bella Matias marched in the 2018
Puerto Rican Day Parade for the Independence of Puerto Rico.
The marchers
shouted, “4645 how many more of us will have to die,” referring to the recently
published death toll by Harvard University. Click on the following link to

The group
handed out literature advertising the upcoming march from Hunter College to the
United Nations (UN) on the same day that the UN holds its annual Puerto Rico
decolonization hearing on Monday, June 18, 2018.
These UN
hearings are not advertised to the world. This will be our 5th year
trying to get them out of the closet. We must expose the United States
Government’s crime against humanity by its refusal to return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty
to the Puerto Ricans as required by the UN Charter and 36 UN resolutions.
Join us,
because those who allowed 4,645 unnecessary deaths in Puerto Rico after
Hurricane Maria don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
