Roselló doesn’t represent Puerto Ricans

Most people automatically believe that the governor represents the people of that state. But, in the case of Puerto Rico, that isn’t so?

Puerto Rico has been a colony since 1898 by virtue of a United States (US) military invasion to take Spain’s colonies away from her.

The US government in 1952 decided to hide its colony, after the Puerto Rican Nationalist Party revolted on October 30, 1950. Therefore, the so-called government of Puerto Rico is in reality the US government’s administration of Puerto Rico.

You would expect that if Ricardo Roselló were really the governor of Puerto Rico that he would be trying to get the US government to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter of 1945 that prohibits colonialism, and the 37 UN resolutions asking that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Instead, he is working to get the US government to allow Puerto Rico to become a state of the nation that militarily invaded his homeland to enslave his people. Click on the following link to watch a video about that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMhb8e4jvm8

Ricardo doesn’t know that the US government classified his people as belonging to an inferior race in 1898, because this is not taught in Puerto Rican schools. And, in order to avoid statehood for Puerto Rico, the US government classified Puerto Rico as an unincorporated territory. That means that Puerto Rico belongs to, but is not a part of the US. Did you notice that Roselló made reference to Puerto Rico colonial relationship to the US only once? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=22s

The US government will never grant statehood for Puerto Rico as long as Puerto Ricans are a majority in their national territory. That was why the US government's response was so slow in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria. The US government is trying to rid Puerto Ricans from their homeland!

Puerto Ricans need to learn their real history to understand what the US government has done to them during the past 120 years. Then, we must permanently engage in resistance to force the US government to stop committing its crime against humanity with Puerto Ricans according to international law.

All people of good will should get involved, because those who take other nations’ colonies for their very own don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
