A Call to
Action in New York
City will hold its permanent resistance for Puerto Rico decolonization on
Monday, February 18, 2019, from 5 to 7 PM at the Ralph Bunche Park across from
the United Nations (UN). Click on the following link for all the particulars: https://www.facebook.com/events/352553011951809/
The 120 year
experiment of making reforms to Puerto Rico’s colonial relationship with the
United States Government (USG) has brought us to where we are today. If we
always do what we have always done we will always get what we have always gotten.
It is time
to demand that the USG comply with the UN’s charter that prohibits colonialism,
and the 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s
sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
2 days
later, we Boricuas in Boriken will also be engaged in permanent resistance. We
do it every 20th of the month at the 2 Brothers Bridge in the
Condado from 5 to 6 PM. “Las Mujeres del Puente Dos Hermanos” chose the
20th, because Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico on that day. https://twitter.com/M20S_PR
The key to
building the tsunami of people that we will need to push this is to learn our
history to understand what we need to do.
We encourage
Boricuas to organize their own permanent resistance wherever they are to help us
build our tsunami of people from all corners of the world to push for Puerto
Rico decolonization!
Get involved
and defend what is yours everywhere, because those who keep wanting to exploit
us forever don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
