Are civilized nations civilized?

Chomsky reveals that the most gifted minds around the world usually support the government. Gifted minds do not mean that they are independent! Therefore, gifted minds are just as easily molded or conditioned as all others.

The United Nations has one more year to end its 3^rd International Decade for the Eradication of Colonialism, 2011 to 2020. How do we recruit enough minds to push for that? I don’t believe Chomsky has that answer.

Harriet Tubman said that she freed a thousand slaves via the Underground Railroad, but that she could have freed a thousand more had they known they were slaves. Tubman’s declaration suggests that to free people you must free their minds first.
