La Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) ha comprobado,
durante su historia de 76 años, su impotencia en relación al caso colonial de
Puerto Rico.
La Carta de la ONU prohíbe el colonialismo, por ser un
crimen en contra de la humanidad. La ONU ha emitido, hasta hoy, 39 resoluciones
pidiéndole al gobierno de Estados Unidos (GEU) que devuelva inmediatamente la
soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños. ¡El GEU nunca ha cumplido con
la ley internacional! ¿Qué ha sido la repuesta de la ONU?
La ONU ha continuado celebrando sus vistas anuales
sobre la descolonización de Puerto Rico, y emitiendo sus resoluciones indicando

¿Qué significa eso para los 5.4 millones de boricuas
que han abandonado nuestro territorio nacional y los 3.2 que hemos rehusados
hacerlo?
Nosotros tenemos que entender que somos nosotros los
únicos que vamos a salvar a nuestra patria. Tenemos que hacer resistencia
permanente para obligar al GEU a cumplir con la ley internacional. Esa presión tiene
que ser enorme, porque el mundo considera al GEU como la amenaza más grande a
la paz.
El camino hacia nuestra unidad está en nuestra
habilitad para descolonizar a nuestras mentes. Eso nos dirá lo que tenemos que
hacer para crear un verdadero gobierno de Puerto Rico, de los boricuas, por los
boricuas y para los boricuas.
La gente es la que tiene el derecho a su
autodeterminación e independencia. ¡No podemos esperar que otros hagan nuestro

The UN’s Charter
prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity. The UN has

immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The USG has

What does
this mean to the 5.4 million Puerto Ricans who have abandoned our national
territory, and the 3.2 million who has refused to?
We must
understand that we are the only ones who will save our homeland. We must engage
in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law. That
pressure must be huge, because the world considers the USG as the biggest
threat to peace.
Our road to
unity rests in our ability to decolonizing our minds. That will tell us what we
must do to create a real Boricua government of Boricuas, by Boricuas and for
Boricuas.
We are the
ones who have the inalienable right to self-determination and independence. We
