Does the US defend democracy?

The USG, for the past 50 years, has funneled the nation’s wealth to the 1% of its citizens. This is why the richest nation in the world is the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, while at the same time 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens!

China and Russia have adopted capitalism, yet the USG is still at war with them, as when they were socialists. Therefore, the USG isn’t defending capitalism and democracy, it is only defending US capitalism.   

That is why Puerto Rico has been a US colony for the past 124 years, even though colonialism is a crime against humanity since 1945.
