Puerto Rico has been a United States (US) colony for the past 124 years. And this, despite 41 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking the US to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US refuses to comply with international law, because she is not a democracy. The US only represents 1% of her citizens. Capitalism, therefore, destroys democracy!

The US extracts $59.3 billion from Puerto Rico, while it invests only 4.6 billion a year. 54.7 billion is a net profit for US capitalists per year. And that is the real reason why the Puerto Rico electrical grid is a mess!
