US plutocracy over democracy

I would like to add to what Prof. Wolff said that US Major General Smedley Butler also warned us about that same threat to our democracy in his 1935 book WAR IS A RACKET.

It is important to note that more than 300,000 US citizens die every year from preventable causes. Moreover, more than a million US citizens have died due to the coronavirus. And yet, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens! Is this a picture of US plutocracy or democracy?

Are you aware that Puerto Rico has been a colony of the US for the past 124 years? That is a crime against humanity! The US has thus far ignored 41 United Nations (UN) resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
