The United
States (US) has held Puerto Rico as her colony for the past 125 years, and
against international law. In the same year that the US entered World War II
after the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor, the US made the following propaganda film
about a so-called “democracy” in Puerto Rico. Please click on the following
link to watch it: https://youtu.be/oNzXiniUNRM
Many people don’t
know that the Treaty of Paris of 1898, still in effect today, states that the
rights of the Puerto Ricans shall be determined by the US. How could this film
then talk about democracy in Puerto Rico? On the contrary, the treaty makes it
very clear that Puerto Ricans are US slaves!
Such is the
case that the US has consistently ignored 42 United Nations resolutions asking
her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. Far
from Puerto Rico enjoying democracy, the US is committing a crime against
humanity by refusing de decolonize her! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0
Many Nazi’s
were executed for committing crimes against humanity as a result of the
Nuremberg Trials. The US, however, has enjoyed immunity from her crimes thus
far.
US
colonialism in Puerto Rico will persist, until the 9 million Puerto Ricans
worldwide engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with
international law. Isn’t it ironic that the US says she cares more about Taiwan’s
inalienable right to their self-determination than Puerto Rico’s?
Joseph
Goebbels learned a lot from US propaganda. However, like with the Third Reich,
her propaganda is becoming more naked.
Propaganda
said a million times is still propaganda.
