The United Nations (UN) has specifically named western companies and institutions that are profiting from genocide and crimes against humanity by making it possible for the artificial colonial settler state of Israel to do so against the indigenous people of Palestine. The US says that the People’s Republic of China is a dictatorship, despite the fact that she has already eradicated her poverty before the US. Moreover, China has done that, despite having 4 times the US’ population. And, how would the US explain the fact that 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their government, while only 33% of Americans are satisfied with ours?

Dr. Jill Stein’s platform represents 99% of US’ citizens. Therefore, if the US were a real democracy, Stein should win by a landslide! This election, thus, will be an experiment to answer the question, to be a democracy, or not to be.

The US says that the People’s Republic of China is a dictatorship. 90% of Chinese, however, are satisfied with their government. And why shouldn’t they, when China has eradicated her poverty by 2020, despite having 4 times the US’ population. Today, only 33% of US citizens, in contrast, are satisfied with our government! What does that say about the US being the so-called “champion of democracy”?

Dutch UN Mission Attempts to Block Bonaire Group from BAKU Initiative Conference; Dutch Government Abuse Complaint Sent to Dutch King

Letter from James Finies to Your Highness Willem-Alexander and the new Prime Minister,

As the people of Bonaire continue to strive for our fundamental human rights under Article 73 of the UN Charter, I remind Your Highness of the promise made to me and the people of Bonaire during our meeting on November 16, 2013. Your assurance gave us hope, confirmed by a Dutch government letter dated January 8, 2014 from Minister of Interior and Kingdom Relations Ronald Plasterk, that endorsed our right to self-determination: “That the people of Bonaire have the right to make their voices heard and right to self-determination is an attainment that is not up for discussion and is fully endorsed by the Cabinet.”

In line with this promise, I protested for 222 days in 2014, leading to a referendum on December 18, 2015, where 66% of Bonaire's electorate rejected the island's current status. Despite this, our Bonaire peoples decision was ignored, and our rights denied.

We turned to the UN, and on June 22, 2016, I addressed the Decolonization Committee, which recommended Bonaire be re-listed as a Non-Self-Governing Territory. Dutch legal experts confirmed our premature delisting in 1955 was erroneous.

During our discussion on November 16, 2013, I clarified I do not seek independence but only to restore our rights under Article 73 of the UN Charter. This is urgent as Bonaire's native population has dwindled to under 32% due to demographic changes since 2010.

We seek your cooperation to ensure our rights are respected. Unfortunately, recent actions by your Dutch government representatives undermine this effort:

- At the Small Island Developing States Conference in Antigua and Barbuda in May 2024, our colleague Davika Bissessar, President of Bonaire Human Rights Organization faced racial intimidation abuse from Saba Governor Johnson.

- Last week, June 20, 2024 the Dutch UN mission attempted to block our participation in a UN decolonization conference organized by Azerbaijan UN Mission at the UN Headquarters in New York.

Furthermore, we have disturbing indications of wiretapping by your intelligence service, which I requested to stop in my letter dated June 27, 2022. We have faced assassination attempts and unlawful arrests due to our advocacy.

I hold Your Highness's Kingdom Government responsible for any further threats to our safety. We trust you to address these issues and uphold our rights as promised.

Oligarchs killed the American Dream

United States’ (US) politicians who have allowed oligarchs to govern the US exclusively for themselves are the ones responsible for killing the American Dream for the 99% of US citizens. The US will ignore that one too, because it is not a government of, by, and for the people. The US’ government is for oligarchs to win at the expense of everybody else.

US’ win-lose has killed the American Dream. 

Stein should win in a real democracy

All of the evidence shows that the United States (US) is an oligarchy. Nothing that the US does is consistent with being a democracy.

People say that the US is the richest country in the world. That wealth, however, is not for the 99% of US citizens. It is exclusively for US oligarchs. 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are Americans, while 38 million Americans live today in poverty!

The US’ two principal political parties have allowed the nation to become an oligarchy. 99% of Americans know that the US government does not represent us. Therefore, Dr. Jill Stein should be the next president, if the US were a real democracy. Let’s invite international observers this year to verify the legitimacy of the 2024 US elections!

Everything on Stein’s platform benefits the 99% of Americans, while everything that Biden and Trump will do as president is to continue to govern for the 1%.

The US is the biggest threat to peace, and the biggest rouge state. The US has no credibility, as nations around the world are de-dollarizing as quickly as possible. The US has hit rock bottom!

If you always do what to have always done, you will always get what have always gotten. We have never had democracy with the 2 major US political parties. And, we all know what happened to President Kennedy when he tried to do that!

Is a US democracy possible?

There is nothing democratic about the United States (US). The US is governed only for the 1% of its citizens. Es importante destacar que Puerto Rico ha sido una colonia de Estados Unidos (EU) por los últimos 126 años. Incluyendo la del jueves, existen ahora 42 resoluciones de la ONU demandando que EU devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños. EU nunca cumplirá con esas resoluciones, porque EU nunca hace lo que le conviene al 100% de sus ciudadanos. ¡EU es una oligarquía!

Es importante también destacar que dos terceras partes de los boricuas viven fuera de nuestro territorio nacional, y la  mitad de los que no, viven en la pobreza.

Por lo tanto, los 6 millones de boricuas en el exilio, y los 3 millones en Boriken tenemos la responsabilidad patriótica de hacer resistencia permanente para descolonizarnos. Olvidémonos, por ahora, de apoyar algún estatus políticos mientras seamos una colonia. Decidiremos eso cuando tengamos nuestra soberanía.

¡Solo la resistencia nos descolonizará! 

¿Por qué complicar la descolonización de PR?

La descolonización de Puerto Rico es fácil en teoría. Ya la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU) ha emitido 43 resoluciones demandando a Estados Unidos (EU) que devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños.

El problema práctico es que EU ha ignorado todas las resoluciones, porque EU solo representa a sus oligarcas, y no a todos sus ciudadanos.  

La siguiente peticionaria que participó en la reciente vista anual de la ONU celebrada el jueves, 20 de junio de 2024, parece no confiar en los puertorriqueños.

Los boricuas decidiremos nosotros mismos el futuro de Boriken cuando tengamos nuestra soberanía. Por lo tanto, no hay necesidad para peticionar a la ONU que entre en negociaciones con EU, España y Puerto Rico para que Boriken regrese a ser una provincia española.

The International Criminal Court quickly issued an arrest warrant against President Putin, but has dragged its feet to issue arrest warrants for Israeli officials responsible for committing genocide.

That is, because the US’ unipolar world order is based on immorality. The US wants people to believe that it is a democracy, while it makes 99% of its citizens poorer.  

The wars in Ukraine and Gaza, and soon with the People’s Republic of China are to make US oligarchs richer, even if that means provoking a World War III.

Do Puerto Ricans have a government?

The best way to answer that question today is by asking another question. Is the United Nations’ annual hearing to discuss decolonization today, Thursday, June 20, 2024, being broadcasted live on Puerto Rican television? No.

One would think that a government that represents the interests of Puerto Ricans would be doing so, in order to educate us about 126 years of being a colony of the United States (US). But, just like the US’ “free press” hides these hearing in the states, the so-called “Puerto Rico government (PRG)” does the same thing in Puerto Rico. That PRG is the US’ government in Puerto Rico. That is why two thirds of Puerto Ricans live today away from our national territory, and half of those remaining live in poverty.   

After today’s hearing, the UN will issue yet another resolution saying exactly the same thing as all of the other 42 resolutions. The UN demands that the US immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. The US will ignore that one too, because the US never does anything that benefits the 99% of its citizens.

Nevertheless, the US has the audacity to hypocritically say that it supports Taiwan’s inalienable right to self-determination and independence. No wonder the world considers the US as the biggest threat to peace.

The UN can’t provide peace with a US rouge state.
