Most Boricuas have missed the big picture

The following video is about what Boricuas are doing to fight against gentrification in Boriken. Please click on this link to watch that video: https://youtu.be/qcvMANu2Bxk

That video talks about reforms that could be forced upon the political system in Boriken. That system is called United States (US) imperialism. Why that was never mentioned in the video is suspicious?

Everything that happens in Boriken is because it exclusively benefits the US. This is why, after 126 years of being a US colony, two thirds of Boricuas live outside of our national territory, and half of us who have remained live in poverty. Does that sound like the US is “the champion of democracy”, and would consent to those reforms?

The US has consistently refused to comply with 42 United Nations’ resolutions demanding that it immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. So, what would make anybody believe that the US would make reforms that would reduce its exploitation of Boriken? https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k1w/k1wb1xdn6i https://webtv.un.org/en/asset/k15/k154ku9q8x

The US even exploits US citizens. Today, 38 million Americans live in poverty, and 60% live from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. That is called a plutocracy, which is the opposite of a democracy!

Therefore, the most effective strategy that most Boricuas are presently not considering, but should, is to engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law, which is the real democracy. That so-called “Rules Based Order” that the US prefers to talk about is just a euphemism for the rule of the jungle!

“US democracy” for whom?
