Campaña Nacional Pa’ la Plaza con Oscar / National Campaign to Town with Oscar

National Campaign to Town with Oscar

Next week, we will begin our national campaign To Town with Oscar our National Hero in all of the 78 Puerto Rican town squares and the diaspora.

We will gather in the town squares on Friday, January 29, 2016, and every 29th of the month thereafter for the release from prison of our national heroes Oscar López Rivera and Ana Belén Montes until they return home.   On the day of their release, we will be at our town squares to give them their well-deserved welcome home!

The main idea of this campaign is to gather people at the town squares, so that every month more and more people attend.  When the number of people get too big for the United States government to ignore, our political prisoners would be released.  This would serve us as a lesson to continue protesting for Puerto Rico decolonization by way of the 34 United Nations resolutions.

I will be at the Bayamón Town Square from 2 to 4 PM.  Bring your flags, banners, t-shirts, songs and poems about Oscar and Ana, flyers and ideas to make the next one even better.

We still need people to work the remaining town squares and the diaspora.  If you want to work a town square, please call Edwin Chungo Molina at 561-758-7509.

For a long time, I have been hearing independence leaders talk about that we have to provoke a crisis for the United States (US) government in order to decolonize ourselves.  Well, now we don’t have to, because the US government has done it for us!  Of course, I’m talking about the debt crisis that Puerto Rico governor Alejandro García Padilla called unpayable.  That debt is the result of 118 years of US colonialism.  If we really want to decolonize ourselves, we must say, “That is not my debt, and I am not paying it!”

As slaves of the US government, it is impossible for us to have a debt of any kind.  We have been exploited forever!

The US government has, not only that debt, but also a humongous debt with the People of Puerto Rico.  If the US government were to pay back all it has robbed during its 240 year existence from countries all over the world, it would be as bankrupted as it has always been morally.

Those who talk about the constitution, the courts, and bankruptcy laws need to understand that the US government cared nothing about those things when it illegally invaded Puerto Rico militarily in 1898 to make us a colony.  Now, in order to decolonize Puerto Rico, it wants to talk about them.

It is interesting that it has never wanted to talk about United Nations resolution 1514 (XV) that has asked the US 34 times to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  The US government takes illegally what it wants, then establishes a network of laws to prohibit reversing what it did.  And this is what it call, the rule of law.

Instead of paying a debt which isn’t ours, we will continue to permanently and peacefully protest for the decolonization of Puerto Rico, because those who rob other countries don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!

EEUU confiesa que es un criminal / US confesses to be a criminal

Those who really want to decolonize Puerto Rico should not reinvent the wheel. It is important that we use a decolonization method that the United States (US) government has the least control over, since it was the one who invaded Puerto Rico to make us its colony.

We should therefore protest peacefully and permanently for Puerto Rico decolonization, based on the 1960 United Nations (UN) resolution 1514 (XV).  The UN has thus far issued 34 resolutions asking the US government to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  The US government’s position has been that Puerto Rico is a domestic matter that is out of the jurisdiction of international law.  This is obviously a lie. This is why the UN holds an annual hearing about Puerto Rico decolonization.

Resolution 1514 (XV) says that colonialism is a crime against humanity, because it is a threat to world peace.  This international law gives everyone under colonialism the right to use any means necessary to decolonize one’s homeland.  Therefore, President Obama’s own White House declaration that Puerto Rico is its colony, in essence is a confession that the United States government is a criminal.  To make matters worse, it is an outlaw government run by a Nobel peace prize laureate.  It should therefore be the US government behind bars, instead of our Puerto Rican political prisoner Oscar López Rivera.

We have 4 peaceful marches and protests lined up for this year.  Please join us!

1.      To the Town Square with Oscar our National Hero.  Oscar has been in jail for 34 years for his struggle to decolonize his homeland.  Beginning on January 29th, 2016, we will congregate every 29th of the month in each of Puerto Rico’s 78 town squares, and in the diaspora to protest for his release.  When Oscar is finally released, we will wait at our town squares to welcome him back home!

2.       The 3rd Oscar – Mandela March in Puerto Rico 2016.  On Tuesday, March 22, 2016, we will have this year’s march on the very day that we celebrate the abolition of slavery.  We will march at 6 PM from the Capitol Building to the US Courthouse in Old San Juan.

3.       The 3rd Independence March in Puerto Rico 2016.  We will have this year’s march as usual just before the Puerto Rico UN Hearing.  The date will be set as soon as we know the UN’s date for it.  We will march over the Dos Hermanos Bridge into the Condado tourist area.

4.       The 3rd Oscar – Mandela March in New York City.  We will march again from Hunter College to the United Nations on the very day of its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing.  This hearing is usually on the Monday after Fathers’ Day.
These protests are absolutely necessary, because those who confess they are criminals don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Puerto Rico debt crisis drives exodus to US

Who depends on whom?  That is what the above picture is about.

Click on the following link to watch a video about it:  http://wn.com/puerto_rico_crisis

This is what the video does not tell you.

Puerto Rico is a United States colony since 1898.  The only reason for having a colony is to exploit her.  That is exactly what the United States Government has done for 118 years.  For the details, please consider reading WAR AGAINST ALL PUERTO RICANS, by Nelson A. Denis.

It is impossible for Puerto Rico to have a debt at all!  The reason why the crisis exists, is because the wealth produced in Puerto Rico goes directly to the United States.  Puerto Rico’s situation right now is an accurate picture of what a colony is.

The United States government is violating international law by maintaining Puerto Rico as its colony.  In 1960, the United Nations (UN) declared colonialism a crime against humanity.  The UN has issued thus far 34 resolutions asking the US government to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  It does not want to, because it makes 70 billion!

What it wants to do eventually is to convert Puerto Rico into a state of the United States, but without a Puerto Ricans majority populating her.  So as the US government continues to exploit Puerto Rico, and squeeze the Puerto Ricans out of their homeland, the day will come when it will be possible to repopulate Puerto Rico with the right kind of people.  When that happens, Puerto Rico would become the 51st state of the Union.

This is why, we must continue to protest permanently and peacefully for the immediate decolonization of Puerto Rico, because those who have colonies against international law don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!

Necesitamos un mundo más sobrio / We need a more sober world

José brilliantly speaks to us about the things that he believes are important in life.  I believe they are the answers to solve many of the injustices we see around the world.  But to see that, it is important that we be sober.
And in order to find more and more sober people, we continue to march peacefully and permanently for the decolonization of Puerto Rico, because those who want everything for themselves don’t believe in JUSTICE FOR ALL!
