Dejados para morir / Left to die

The United States Government (USG) doesn’t mind going twice as far in order to “supposedly help” the people of Venezuela than it did to have helped Puerto Ricans in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria.

President Trump said that the reason that it took so long to help Puerto Ricans was because, Puerto Rico is in a big ocean. Click on this link to hear him say so: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=71rg6jKMd6A

The USG has never been about helping people. It has always been about making profit! The following picture illustrates exactly why the USG is interested in Venezuela:

And that is exactly why the world has said that the USG is the biggest threat to world peace. Click on this link for the details: https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/08/07/polls-us-greatest-threat-to-peace-world-today.html

Only those ignorant of history cannot see that the USG has never been about LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL.

We need to all engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and the 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Get involved in establishing a real democracy, because those who allow people to die to make more money don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

US has always been racist!

Click on the following link to watch a short video about what Dr. Noam Chomsky has to say regarding United States’ racism: https://youtu.be/kFHnL40wmsU

The United States Government (USG) classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race 122 years after its own declaration of independence from the British. Then, it classified Puerto Rico as an unincorporated territory to avoid extending its Constitution to the Puerto Ricans. And that was how the USG set the stage to have had Puerto Rico as its colony for the past 120 years. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=44s

After World War II put an end to Adolf Hitler’s racism, the United Nation (UN) was born to try to help ensure that war would not be used again to settle differences between countries.

The UN’s Charter prohibits colonialism, because the international community regards it as a crime against humanity, and a threat to world peace.

Ironically, the USG that was the nation that most encouraged the creation of the UN is also the one that has violated for the past 73 years the UN’s Charter, because of its racism and interest in profit over human rights. Moreover, it has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Therefore, all good people are obligated by their conscience to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with international law and decolonize Puerto Rico. We must get involved, because racists don't believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

US deeds speak louder than its words

Suddenly, the United States Government (USG) cares about the human rights of the people of Venezuela.  Who really believes that?

When, in the history of the United States (US), has the USG cared about human rights?

Did the USG care about the human rights of the indigenous people of America?

Did the USG care about the human rights of the black slaves brought against their will from Africa to America? https://youtu.be/k4CZ0_o2Mto `

And, has the USG cared about the human rights of Puerto Ricans during its 120 years of US colonialism despite the fact that it is prohibited by the United Nations’ (UN) Charter? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=44s

The UN calls it a crime against humanity! Yet the USG pretends to care about crimes against humanity in other nations, when it has at home ignored 37 UN resolutions asking the USG to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

Only the people who are ignorant of US history could believe the reason that the USG is giving for wanting to go to war with Venezuela. History taught us that appeasement did not work with Adolf Hitler. And history need not have to teach us again that it will not work with the 1% that control the USG. https://www.strategic-culture.org/news/2017/08/07/polls-us-greatest-threat-to-peace-world-today.html

The good people of the world must engage in permanent resistance to force their governments to represent 100% of their citizens like real democracies are supposed to do.

We must, because those who care more about profits than human rights, don’t really believe in LIBERTY OR IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
Appeasement didn’t work with Hitler.

Boricuas are still getting up

The Museum of New York will be screening the documentary, El Pueblo Se Levanta, on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at 6:30 PM.

$15 for Adults | $12 for seniors, students, and educators (with ID) | $10 for Museum Members
Includes Museum admission. Note: All galleries close at 6:00 pm.

The following is a summary of this documentary:

In the late 1960s, conditions for Puerto Ricans in the United States reached a breaking point. Produced in 1971, the hard-hitting documentary "El Pueblo Se Levanta" (50 min) focuses on the poverty and oppression of New York City's own East Harlem.

Narrated by the people it portrays, the film captures the dual compassion and militancy of the activist group the Young Lords as they began to take direct action to improve the conditions of their community.

Join us for a screening of the film followed by a talkback with Juan González, a founding member of the Young Lords and now co-host of the Democracy Now! News program. Moderated by Dr. Sarah Seidman, curator of the Museum's Activist New York exhibition.

The conditions for Puerto Ricans in New York City was in total contrast to what United States (US) General Nelson Miles said to Puerto Ricans in 1898 after the US Government (USG) militarily invaded Puerto Rico. This is what he said:

“We have not come to make war upon the people of a country that for centuries has been oppressed, but, on the contrary, to bring you protection. . . . This is not a war of devastation, but one to give to all within the control of its military and naval forces the advantages and blessings of enlightened civilization.”

The fact of the matter has been that the USG invaded Puerto Rico 120 years ago to continue to oppress Puerto Ricans. Today, Puerto Rico is still a US colony despite the fact that colonialism is a crime against humanity!

We need to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, and the 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

Get involved, because those who lie to exploit us don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

What value does memory have if history isn’t important?

The fact of the matter is that history is what creates unity among people. Not knowing history creates divisiveness.

People who want to take advantage of you have no reason to educate you correctly. This is how you are kept from revolting.

The United States Government (USG) has used its absolute power over Puerto Ricans to shape their minds into believing that independence is bad for them. It is difficult for most Puerto Ricans to question the fact that, if independence is good for the majority of nations, why isn’t it good for Puerto Rico?

When have you ever heard the United States Government (USG) talk about that the United Nations’ (UN) Charter prohibits colonialism since 1945? Never!

When have you ever heard the USG talk about that it has violated the UN’s Charter for the past 73 years? Never!

When have you ever heard the USG talk about that it has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans? Never!

It is as though for the USG, these things never happened! And that is why they are not mentioned also in the United States media. Nor does the UN itself regularly broadcast live its own annual hearing to discuss Puerto Rico decolonization usually held on the Monday after Fathers’ Day.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=otzBslJLbI0

And if these things don’t exist for the USG, isn’t it time to move the UN out of the United States (US)? Why allow the US to make all that money off of the UN’s operations, if the USG is not going to comply with its resolutions? Why not put the UN in a nation that respects the UN’s Charter?

Isn’t it amazing that for 120 years the USG has violated Puerto Ricans’ human rights, but today wants to go to war with Venezuela, supposedly because her government is violating its peoples’ human rights?

The USG said that it invaded militarily Puerto Rico in 1898 to bring liberty to the Puerto Ricans. But the fact of the matter is that today, more Puerto Ricans live away from their national territory. The USG’s plan is the rid Puerto Ricans from Puerto Rico to repopulate her with the right kind of people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=44s

Let’s use our memory to learn our real history to engage in permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the will of the international community. Get involved, because those who want to hide the truth don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/

¿Por qué los boricuas estamos divididos? / Why are Boricuas divided?

Los boricuas no conocemos nuestra verdadera historia. ¿Cuántos de nosotros sabemos esto?

We don’t know our real history. How many of us know this?

1. The United States Government (USG) classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race in 1898.

2. The USG classified Puerto Rico as an unincorporated territory to avoid having to extend its Constitution to the Puerto Ricans.

3. The USG forced its citizenship on Puerto Ricans in 1917, and made it impossible for us to renounce it.

4. The USG has violated for the past 73 years the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism.

5. The USG has ignored 37 UN resolutions asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

Not knowing our history is like 20 people who, not being automobile mechanics, are giving their opinions about why a car is not running properly. The 20 people have 20 different opinions. But, if the automobile owner were to take it to a real mechanic, the car could be fixed. Because, he who knows, knows.

Obviously, the USG is not going to teach us our own real history, so that we could revolt. Therefore, each of us will have to learn our history on our own like the history professor Dr. Nelson Rochet Santoro did. Click on the following link to watch one of his videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dRHGdhRBG1M&t=44s

If Lin Manuel Miranda knew his real history, he would be using his talents to make plays about our Puerto Rican revolutionaries, instead of raising money for the arts in Puerto Rico. That is not a threat to the USG, because regardless of how much help he gives, Puerto Rico will continue to be its colony. But, the other one has the potential of waking us up from the dream that we’ve been dreaming for the past 120 years!

Juan Antonio Corretjer called reformism what we do to better our perpetual crisis, but that does not threaten the USG’s absolute control over Puerto Rico. You could read his book by clicking on this link: https://www.keepandshare.com/doc/6462438/01lucha-por-la-independ-pdf-517k?da=y

Click on this link to watch a video of a Puerto Rican reformist: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gVwiv-g7KiI

If Boricuas knew our history, they would not be engaging in resistance against the Fiscal Control Board, education, beaches for the people, Vieques clean-up, toxic ashes in Peñuelas and the prohibition of cockfights, to just name a few.

We Boricuas would then have the unity needed to organize ourselves to engage in the permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the desire of the international community.

Inform yourself, become indignant and rebel, because those who want to go to war with Venezuela to make huge profits for the 1% of the United States citizens don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
History is the glue.
