US democratization will require a fight

There is no doubt that the United States (US) is not a democracy, when only the 1% of her citizens gets richer at the expense of the 99%. That is called a plutocracy.

American workers have had enough, but will that alone solve our problem? No.

The 99% of us who want a democracy will have to put up a fight. The massive quitting of jobs is a great beginning, but, we will need to organize to put ourselves in charge of the production of goods and the delivery of services. Click on the following link for more: https://youtu.be/U6NsmyEwDRo

The fight must be intelligent and massive to convert the US into a democracy. Let’s turn our indignation into a creative and revolutionary force for change in the US. And when we encounter difficult times, remember, “No pain no gain.”

How to get the left better organized

The left, for the most part, are employees. And as employees, we have had little or no experience in running organizations. The challenge for us, therefore, will be to learn organizational skills in order to create a more cohesive and formidable opposition to the right. Since the right has had much more organizational experience, the left will have to catch up by working incredibly smarter, and carefully selecting those strategies that could best achieve our objectives.

In 2022, the white supremacists, are still yearning for “the good old days” when slavery was openly acceptable. They could not care less about democracy, and about justice for all. They believe that the US has deteriorated from where she started. And to that end, white supremacists long to, as they see it, “Make America Great Again”.

The United States (US) was founded on white supremacy. That eventually led to her first civil war that formally ended slavery.

That, however, didn’t lead to blacks being accepted by the white supremacists. Black codes (Jim Crow Laws) were then instituted to exclude blacks from their liberty and justice.

After the election of President Obama, the Republican Party became 90% white. Whites know that they cannot win elections, because they are becoming a minority in the US. These whites are not interested in having a real democracy. They don’t want to lose the power that they have enjoyed since the nation was founded. That is what’s behind, “Make America Great Again”.

Barbara said that the more democratic a nation is the less likely she will have a civil war. Do you believe that the white supremacists will make the changes needed to avoid a second civil war? They are the same people who erected Confederate statues in the South, and have refused to take them down!

Colonizers colonize their own people too!

The 1% of the citizens of a nation are the ones who organize how the government operates. Consequently, they will take care of themselves. The 99% of the citizens of that nation, as well as the colonized people from other nations unfortunately suffer their exploitation.

Deprived of our natural rights

Puerto Ricans have been deprived of our natural right to be free, and of being governed by the consent of the governed, for over 400 years by Spain, and over 100 years by the United States (US). The US, however, decided to do the same thing that Britain had done to her, to Puerto Rico. The US government (USG) militarily invaded Puerto Rico in 1898 to make her its colony. The USG became, to use the video’s analogy, another Ike Turner.

Forgetting about the Age of Enlightenment that founded the US in 1776, the USG refused in 1945 to comply with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism, because it is a crime against humanity.

US coup mastermind still at large

Former United States (US) President Trump, who masterminded the January, 6, 2021 insurrection at the Capitol, has still not been jailed for his attack on US’ so-called “democracy”.

The USG reacted the same way in the 1930’s to the coup attempt by the 1% of US citizens against President Franklyn D. Roosevelt for his “New Deal” to save the 99% from the Great Depression. Major General Smedley Butler blew the whistle. George W. Bush’s grandfather, Prescott, was among the conspirators. They were never prosecuted. That is not supposed to happen in a real democracy!
