The US and her allies have no credibility. They do not care about international law. The “Rules Based Order”, that the US likes to talk about, are US unilateral rules designed to exploit the sovereignty of all other nations. Fortunately, 80% of the nations of the world are choosing to work together to combat US imperialism.

How could the US be the champion of democracy, when 38 million American still live in poverty today. The People’s Republic of China, whom the US claims is not a democracy, has already eradicated poverty at home despite having 4 times the US’ population! While only 40% of US citizens are satisfied with our government, over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with theirs!

The US uses others’ sovereignties to make US oligarchs even richer. That is why 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens.

US “democracy” prohibits its citizens, by law, from exposing crimes committed by their own government. If he dares to, he, and not the state, is the criminal!

The US, however, claims that the People’s Republic of China is not a democracy, yet China doesn’t have 800 military bases around the world to militarily and illegally invade other nations. China, instead, has eradicated poverty at home, despite having 4 times the US’ population! Ironically, the Chinese are over 90% satisfied with their government, while US citizens are only 40% satisfied with ours!

It is a lie that the US is the champion of democracy.

¿Cómo empujar nuestra descolonización? / How to push our decolonization?

Muchos boricuas creen que podríamos descolonizar a Boriken a través de las elecciones en Puerto Rico, los plebiscitos, o las vistas anuales en la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU). Pero pregúntese, ¿por qué todavia somos una colonia, si el colonialismo es un crimen en contra de la humanidad?

Estados Unidos (EU) hace mucho dinero manteniendo a Boriken como su colonia. Por eso fue que EU invadió militarmente a Puerto Rico en 1898, y ha ignorado repetidamente a 41 resoluciones de la ONU pidiéndole que devuelva inmediatamente la soberanía de Puerto Rico a los puertorriqueños.

Para tratar de evitar nuestra descolonización, EU ha preferido mejor animar a los boricuas a celebrar plebiscitos complicados y antagonistas para supuestamente saber lo que queremos. El colonialismo que hemos vivido por los últimos 125 años ha resultado en que dos terceras partes de los boricuas vivan hoy fuera de nuestro territorio nacional, y que la mitad del tercio que rehusamos abandonar a nuestra patria viven en la pobreza. ¡Y eso continuará hasta que EU saque a todos los boricuas de Boriken!

Este mes, la ONU volverá a celebrar su vista anual sobre la descolonización de Puerto Rico. Y otra vez la ONU emitirá otra resolución diciendo exactamente lo mismo. ¡Imaginase si los 9 millones de boricuas mundialmente haríamos resistencia permanente para obligar a EU a cumplir con la ley internacional!

Many Boricuas believe that we could decolonize Boriken via the elections in Puerto Rico, plebiscites, or the annual hearing at the United Nations (UN). But ask yourself, why are we still a colony, if colonialism is a crime against humanity?

125 years of colonialism has resulted in that two thirds of Boricuas live away from our national territory, and half of the one third who have refused to abandon our homeland live in poverty. And, that will continue until the US gets all Boricuas out of Boriken!

This month, the UN will hold its annual Puerto Rico decolonization hearing. The US will again issue another resolution saying exactly the same. Imagine if the 9 million Puerto Ricans worldwide were to engage in permanent resistance to force the US to comply with international law!

The United States (US) government does not believe in spending money to benefit US citizens. That is unfortunate, because spending money on US citizens would prove that the US is truly a democracy.
