Profit first made USA the epicenter

The United States (US) government (USG) had a golden opportunity to have done a far better job at protecting its citizens. Why is US health care decentralized and privatized? It is, so that business could make as much profit as possible. One thing is clear, it is not designed to give US citizens the best health care possible!

The USG acted the same way to the coronavirus at home, as it did after Puerto Rico was devastated by Hurricane Maria. The USG said that it was unable to respond faster to our tragedy, because “it’s a big ocean”. But, the same Atlantic Ocean wasn’t a problem in 1898 for the USG to militarily invade Puerto Rico to make her its colony.

The USG has never complied with the United Nations’ (UN) Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945. Will the 99% decide to continue with “business as usual”, or will we force the 1% to return our sovereignty to us? The pandemic has opened our eyes to the fact that our government is working for Wall Street, instead of, “We the People”.
