The
so-called “discovery of the new world” by Christopher Columbus in 1492 was
really the beginning of the gentrification of the western hemisphere.
And for the
next 500 years, the European conquistadors undertook the task of the
extermination of the indigenous people of America to claim it for themselves
with the battle cry of, “America for the Americans.”
The United
States (US) government (USG) calls the indigenous people of America “undocumented
aliens”. But in reality, it is the Europeans invaders, who established the USG,
who are the real aliens in America.
Trumps’ wall
to keep out Mexicans is just one more example of the USG’s obsession with its gentrification.
Another example is Puerto Rico.
The USG
invaded Puerto Rico specifically to make her its colony. The proof of that is in
the Treaty of Paris of 1898. It states that the rights of Puerto Ricans will be
determined by the USG. That languages comes from the US Supreme Court in the
slave case of Dred Scott vs. Sanford. The Court’s resolution was that “Black
people have no rights that Whites people have to respect.” Therefore, Puerto
Ricans have been enslaved by the USG for the past 123 years!
The USG has since
pushed 5.4 million Puerto Ricans out of our homeland. Presently, 3.2 million
Puerto Ricans have refused to abandon our national territory. But it is obvious
to those without gringolas that the USG is trying to gentrify Puerto Rico. That
is, obviously, the continuation of America for the Americans.
Once the USG
achieves a majority of “Whites” in Puerto Rico, it will then make her the 51st
state of its Union. We will then have the 2 senators and the 4 to 5
representatives in the US Congress that the New Progressive Party of Puerto
Rico talks about, but that will not bring us the equality for Puerto Ricans that
it seeks. On the contrary, that will be our genocide!
Our
salvation will never happen via the Puerto Rico colonial elections that were installed
by the USG to keep us enslaved forever. Therefore, we must engage, instead, in
permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the United Nations’
Charter that prohibits colonialism since 1945, and to comply with its 39 UN resolutions
asking it to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.
