Facts:

1. The United States (US) lied to Russia that she would not put another North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) military base closer to Russia after Germany's unification.

2. Russia warned the US in 2008 that Ukraine’s membership in NATO is an existential threat to her national security. The US continued to press forward, and thus provoked the war in Ukraine!

3. Blinken talked about respecting a nation’s sovereignty. Nevertheless, the US orchestrated in 2014 a coup in Ukraine to remove her democratically elected president. Blinken conveniently didn’t mention that. Russia’s annexation of Crimea, that he mentioned, was a consequence of that coup. Moreover, the US has had Puerto Rico as her colony for the past 124 years, despite 41 United Nations resolutions asking her to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans.

4. Blinken gave the impression that the US cares about her people. Yet, over a million US citizens died due to the pandemic, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. This was all before Russia's military invasion of Ukraine. Therefore, far from the US being a democracy, the evidence shows that she is a plutocracy.

5. US plutocracy was what US Major General Smedley Butler warned us about in his book, “WAR IS A RACKET”. Half of the US budget goes to the military. That is why 38 million US citizens today live in poverty. China, on the other hand, with 4 times the US’s population, has lifted 700 million Chinese out of poverty. That is more than twice the population of the US!

6. Who does the world consider the biggest threat to peace? Blinken would have you believe that it is Russia. But, by far, the world says it is the US!

“Rules Based Order” is US imperialism!

“Rules Based Order” (RBO) is the opposite of International Law (IL). The international community, via the United Nations (UN), democratically created IL, which contains the rules that it believes would promote justice and peace in the world.

The United States (US), however, is not interested in the promotion of justice and peace. Her only interest is in making her oligarchs even richer. That is why the US has over a million deaths due to the coronavirus, while, at the same time, 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. “RBO” allows for that, and that is why it is undemocratic!

“RBO” allows the US to provoke the war against the biggest nuclear power in the world, because Russia stands in the way of US oligarchs becoming richer.

80% of the people of Europe, however, do not want a war against Russia. The UN does not want a war against Russia. Peruvians defend their democracy

71% of Peruvians disapprove of the dictatorial regime that is backed by the US. The Peruvians are defending their real democracy, by engaging in permanent resistance until their demands are met.

Second phase Bonaire’s international trajectory

On January 18, 2023, Mr. James Finies president of Nos Kier Boneiru Bek and Mrs. Davika Bissessar president of Bonaire Human Rights departed Bonaire to continue with the second phase of the international campaign and trajectory of relisting Bonaire on the Non Self Governing Territories’ (NSGT) list by raising awareness and seeking solidarity for the case of Bonaire to be presented at the 77^th General Assembly of the United Nations (UN).

On the dissolution of Netherlands Antilles on October 10, 2010, Bonaire was illegally annexed and incorporated in the Dutch Constitution under unequal rights where the People of Bonaire are governed since then from The Hague against their wishes. The People of Bonaire voted an overwhelming 66% in the 2015 referendum to reject the current imposed colonial rule status. 

We have lobbied for over 300 consecutive days last year, where we had meetings and presented our international report among others to president of Chile Gabriel Boric, prime minister of Belice Johnny Bricenjo, prime minister of Grenada Dickon Mitchell, prime minister of Barbados Mia Mottley, prime minister of Saint Vincent Ralph Goncalves, president of Suriname Chan Santokhi, Secretary General of the UN Antonio Guterres and a lot more leaders and authorities of almost all Latin American and the Caribbean. As a result, hereof today, more countries in the world, especially in Latin America and the Caribbean, know of the suffering of Bonaire, her inhabitants, since 10th October 2010, who have been stripped of their culture, their language and identity, and the most precious thing that the Kingdom of the Netherlands has taken away is our right to freedom and equality.

Now we have friends in the whole Latin America and the Caribbean who are in solidarity with the People of Bonaire, and are supporting our trajectory of relisting Bonaire on the NSGT, and to present the case of Bonaire to the General Assembly of the UN.

Colonialism is a Crime against Humanity, and we promise to keep fighting as long as is necessary to bring justice and respect to the People of Bonaire for their freedom and equality and for future generations to enjoy these sacred and fundamental rights.

Much has been said in the United States (US) about Russia interfering in US democracy, but, do you know that only 40% (an “F”) of US citizens are satisfied with our government?

The US has more than a million deaths due to the coronavirus. There are 38 million US citizens living in poverty today, when China, having 4 trillion less dollars in her Gross Domestic Product (GDP), and having 4 times the US’ population, has already eradicated her poverty. I could go on, but you get the point! What US democracy?

Not only does the US interfere regularly in other nations’ democracies, like in Cuba for more than 60 years, she has a long history of removing democratically elected governments.

The US does, because the governments that govern for their citizens prohibit US oligarchs from becoming even richer. Are you aware that 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens? US Major General Smedley Butler wrote about that in his book, “War is a Racket”.

That is why the US orchestrated the war in Ukraine, and then lies to everyone that Russia’s invasion was unprovoked.

The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), far from being a “garden”, is looking to get everybody into World War III.

If the West were a garden as Josep Borrell claims, NATO would have dissolved itself after the collapse of the Soviet Union. But being an imperialist club, it has continued to hound the Russian Federation in the name of democracy and human rights. Since the West always says the opposite, it is the one that is against democracy, human rights, and therefore the real jungle!

The United States (US) orchestrated a coup against the democratically elected government of Ukraine in 2014. Then, the West entered into 2 Minsk Agreements with Russia, only to buy time for it to train Ukrainian soldiers to go to war against Russia in the future.

The West says that the only way that the Ukraine war will end is with the defeat of Russia. With Russia possessing the most nuclear weapons in the world, that means that NATO is against humanity! And as if that weren’t enough, NATO is also planning a war against the People’s Republic of China!

Capitalism is democracy’s worst enemy

The United States (US), the so-called champion of democracy and human rights, has had a capitalist neoliberal economic system for the past 40 years.

99% of US citizens, however, have been battered by it. The evidence by Oxfam confirms categorically that the US government, among other so-called democracies, are governments of, by and for the 1% of their citizens. The richest people have increase their wealth by two thirds of all of the new wealth between 2020 and 2021. That 42 trillion dollars is twice as much, as what the 99% of the people of the world earn!

World poverty has not been eradicated, because the so-called “democracies” have been designed to perpetuate poverty. Oxfam’s conclusion is that, “The very existence of booming and record profits while most people face austerity, rising poverty, and a cost of living crisis, is evidence of an economic system that fails to deliver for humanity.”

Ana Belen Montes served 20 years in a United States (US) prison for refusing to help the US in committing crimes against Cubans. This is a perfect example of the “Rules Based Order” (RBO) that the US likes to talk about, instead of International Law.

US says that other nations are isolated. But, the truth of the matter is that the US is the one that is isolated. So much so, that the world has considered the US for a long time to be the biggest threat to peace!

Russia, with a gross domestic product (GDP) of $1.5 trillion, is fighting the United States (US) and her allies, with a combined GDP of $30 trillion!

The US and the West, moreover, have illegally stolen $300 billion of Russia’s foreign reserve held in banks under their control. This constitute an act of war! Russia would certainly use her nuclear capabilities, should she ever feels that she is losing the war.

38 million people in the US today live in poverty, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. China, however, during the past 40 years, has lifted 700 million Chinese out of poverty!
