38 million US citizens live today in poverty. The US today has more than a million deaths due to the coronavirus, while 8 of the 10 richest men in the world are US citizens. Is that the will of the people?

The world for a long time has regarded the US as the biggest threat to peace. Is this what a champion of democracy and human rights should look like?    

China, whom the US calls authoritative, has lifted 700 million Chinese out of poverty. That is more than twice the US’ population! What does that say about US democracy?
