The United States (US) is looking for allies in East Asia to help it contain the People's Republic of China. Vietnam, however, considers the US "as an existential threat, and has no intention to join its anti China alliance". Please click on this link for more: https://youtu.be/NncakfDmrxU
Vietnam, on the contrary, is secretly planning for a new war against the US, should it ever decide to invade her again.
Why would communist Vietnam help the US Empire colonize China, which is governed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)? The CCP eradicated poverty 6 years ago, despite having 4 times the US' population, and having 11 trillion dollars less than the US. Over 90% of Chinese are satisfied with their one communist party political system. Isn't that democracy?
Conversely, the so-called "champion of democracy" has almost 40 million Americans living in poverty today, and 201 million more living from paycheck to paycheck, while 9 of the 10 richest men in the world are also Americans. Only 35% of Americans are satisfied with their multiparty "democratic" political system. Isn't this authoritarianism?
The US colonized Puerto Rico 128 years ago. Today, the US government is freaking out about Bad Bunny's halftime show, because Puerto Ricans belong to an inferior race according to it. Although Bad Bunny's Super Bowl show was the most watched ever, President Trump said that it was "a slap in the face to our country."
The real slap in the face to the US and democracy has been the US government's consistent refusal to comply with 43 United Nations resolutions demanding the immediate return of Puerto Rico's sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans. 6 million Puerto Ricans have abandoned their national territory (gentrification), and half of the 3 million people in Puerto Rico live in poverty too! Isn't this imperialism?
Vietnam also defends democracy!
