El gobierno de Estados Unidos (EEUU) le ha hecho creer a muchos puertorriqueños que existen 3 opciones de estatus político para Puerto Rico.  ¡Eso, no es cierto!  EEUU quiere con eso poner a los puertorriqueños a pelear entre nosotros mismos.  ¡Su estrategia ha sido genial! Tenemos 116 años como colonia de EEUU y la evidencia de que el 80% de los puertorriqueños salen a votar en las elecciones coloniales demuestra que la gran mayoría de nosotros todavía no nos hemos dado cuenta de ese embuste.  

En realidad, solo hay una opción.  ¡Eso lo dice la ley internacional a través de la Organización de Naciones Unidas (ONU)!   La ONU determinó en el 1960 que el coloniaje es un crimen en contra de la humanidad.  Desde entonces, la ONU le ha pedido al gobierno de Estados Unidos que inmediatamente descolonice a Puerto Rico.  Eso quiere decir que el gobierno de EEUU está obligado a entregarle a Puerto Rico la soberanía que ilegalmente le quitó como resultado de su invasión militar del 25 de julio de 1898. 

EEUU, hasta hoy, ha ignorado las 33 resoluciones de la ONU para descolonizar a Puerto Rico.  Para esconder eso, y para aparentar ser democrático, EEUU ha querido empujarnos plebiscitos para que los puertorriqueños decidan si queremos continuar siendo su colonia, convertirnos en un estado de EEUU, o descolonizarse (independencia) como lo ha determinado la ONU.  

El problema con los plebiscitos que empuja EEUU es que:

1.       No cumple con la ley internacional de que una nación no puede tener una colonia.

2.       No cumple con la solución de la ley internacional de que la nación que tiene la colonia tiene que entregarle su soberanía.

3.       No cumple con la ley internacional en cuanto a que para decidir libremente lo que quiere un pueble, primero tiene que ser libre (descolonizado).

4.       Tiene 2 opciones que va en contra de lo que un pueblo colonizado puede escoger  (continuar siendo una colonia e integrarse al imperio).   Solo la opción de integrase al imperio sería posible solo cuando la colonia primero tenga su soberanía, y luego, lo decida así.    

 

Únete, y ser parte de un tsunami de gente para obligar al gobierno de Estados Unidos a cumplir con las resoluciones de la ONU.   ¡Esta marcha es necesaria porque los que tienen colonias no creen en la justicia para todos!  Más información estará disponible al final de enero de 2015.

The United States (US) government has made Puerto Ricans believe that there are 3 political status options for Puerto Rico.  That is a lie.  The purpose for that is to have Puerto Ricans fight amongst themselves.  The plan has been a huge success!  Puerto Rico has been a colony of the United States for 116 years, and judging by the 80% voter turnout in the colonial elections, the majority of us has not realized that we have been lied to.

In reality, there is only one option.  The United Nations (UN) in 1960 determined that colonialism is a crime against humanity.  Therefore, the only thing that Puerto Rico can do is to become her own nation.   That means that the US government must give Puerto Rico the sovereignty that it illegally took away from her by virtue of the July 25, 1898 military invasion. 

Thus far, the US government has ignored the 33 UN resolutions asking it to immediately decolonize Puerto Rico.  Instead, the US government has tried to hide these petitions by trying to appear it believes in democracy through promoting the use of plebiscites.  The US deception strategy is to seduce Puerto Ricans  to cast a vote between staying colonialized, being a US state, or independence (decolonization, which is what the UN requires).   
 

The problems with these US-pushed plebiscites are that they:
 

1.       don’t comply with international law which prohibits a nation from having a colony.
 

2.       don’t comply with international law which requires that the empire has to give the sovereignty it illegally took away back to its colony.
 

3.       don’t comply with international law which requires that in order to have free elections, a country must be free (decolonized) first.
 

4.       have 2 options that are not permitted by international law (continuing being a colony and becoming a state of the imperial power).  For the latter option to be considered, the colony must first become her own nation (decolonized).
 

Join and be a part of the tsunami of people to obligate the US government to comply with the UN resolutions.  This march is necessary because, those who have colonies don’t believe in justice for all!  More information late in January 2015.
