US’ Bad Faith

The United States of American talks about her respect for democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. But if you analyze her history, that is all it is, just talk!

Before the United States Government (USG) ever existed, it acted in bad faith. The British colonists informed England about the Caribbean Islands, and about the huge advantages for England if she were to control them.

General Simon Bolivar asked the USG to help finance the liberation of the last 2 remaining Spanish colonies in America, Cuba and Puerto Rico. The USG answered, no. Leave them like that!

The USG made sure that the Treaty of Paris said that the rights of the natives ceded by Spain to the United States (US) shall be determined by the US.

The USG classified Puerto Ricans as an inferior race in 1898. The USG legislated the non-incorporated territory to apply to Puerto Rico to avoid having to extend its Constitution to her.

Puerto Ricans refused the USG’s offer of US citizenship in 1917. The USG, nevertheless, imposed it on Puerto Ricans. Where’s the democracy?

Puerto Ricans used their inalienable right under international law to self-determination and independence and revolted in Puerto Rico on October 30, 1950.

The USG, instead of respecting as a member state the United Nations' Charter that prohibits colonialism, subdued the Puerto Rican Nationalists' revolt. So, who’s the criminal?

The USG then fooled the world by giving its colony a named that didn’t sound like she is a US colony. The USG called it the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico of July 25, 1952. The USG chose that date to hide the date of its invasion of Puerto Rico.

The USG asked the UN to remove Puerto Rico off its list of colonies, because she was no longer a colony. The UN agreed, and took her off its list. Although the UN has issued 37 resolutions asking the USG to immediately return Puerto Rico’s sovereignty to the Puerto Ricans, the UN has never returned Puerto Rico back on that list. It is important to note that from the 17 colonies that are on that list, Puerto Rico would be the oldest and the most populated one!

There is no secret that Puerto Ricans are divided. But, why?

Puerto Ricans get the information that the USG wants them to have. And that information is full of lies. This is why almost 50% of Boricuas want to remain a US colony, and almost 50% want to be a state of the US. The rest of us have not allowed ourselves to be fooled by US propaganda.

How can we unite the 3.4 million Boricuas on the island, and the 5.4 million living elsewhere? Boricuas will need to find a way to learn their real history. The more we do, the more united we will be!

Join the permanent resistance to force the USG to comply with the will of the international community, because those who have acted in bad faith forever, don’t believe in LIBERTY AND IN JUSTICE FOR ALL! https://www.facebook.com/groups/1697349163904877/
